Holy Crap! Those custom Diecast looks absolutely phenomenal! You always put so much hard word into your customs to make them as accurate as possible, if this were a real set in retail, it is a must have! Keep up the work on the amazing customs!
Thank you so incredibly much! I make these packs for the childhood I, and so many others never had, after the diecast line got less creative in the years after Cars 2. Everything is made with care with the kids in mind who would be opening these toys on Christmas or a birthday if they were real. I always just think what the child me would have wanted from the cars line!
@@TheCarsShifter They are so good I almost thought this was at the Toy's R Us mall store that you could buy for about $50 but once you said it was a custom I felt unfortunate but these are awesome!
Another beast of Cars customs! I absolutely adore the package, from the design to the fan made prototype pictures on the back. As for the Diecasts, they’re just perfect, something a true fan of Cars and accuracy could do. The suspension for Hollister and McQueen it’s a nice and creative touch, just like McQueen’s tire decals and the nails used on Towcap’s accurate spoiler. Aldo they don’t roll, felling more like mini statues it’s totally fine as these are meant to be displayed rather than played with. Plus, there’s no way do do custom axels for Diecasts which would be totally hard to do. Another thing I’ve noticed is that your Thailand McQueen also has accurate windows and Soaring McQueen’s spoiler now says “Rust-eze Bumper Ointment” rather than just “Rust-eze” like in the movie. Was that made to match Tongue McQueen’s back decal or it was just a creative liberty for your head cannon just like the racers names? Either way it looks pretty good.
Thank you so much! Oh yes, I forgot to mention the added 'Rusteze,' I did it to be more accurate since they for some reason never added that to Tongue McQueen in his rereleases. These are more so display pieces, yes, in fact I could have made this a comic con exclusive adding the 'Adult Collector' sticker, but I'm just too big a fan of Toys "R" Us because this would look beautiful on their shelves and would make a great present to open for a kid on a birthday or Christmas, whatever it may be. I always keep the child me in mind when making these and the kids that would be buying this in an alternate universe, because they deserve this, not the low effort stuff they've been making since Cars 3! It's like the diecast line we never got after Cars 2 how it got well, less creative to say the least. Thank you for the well thought out comments and continual support!

Sorry I don't, but essentially it is a piece of cardstock I painted yellow ang glued on after dremeling off the original spoiler. I feel like I should know the term, but the silver thingys that hold up the spoiler are just axles from any diecast I precisely and safely cut with plyers
@@mrduck3852 No problem. I use a combination of acrylic paints I mix with a brush to get the color. The chassis of Rusty does not need to be removed. If you are asking about the metal sticks on the spoiler which comes from a diecast axle, then yes those must be removed from a car with a drill for both rivets on the base. That's how I get the metal rods on the back of the spoiler. The car can fly anywhere or the drill can sometimes slip in your own hands, so I'd recommend you have supervision or are extremely cautious when drilling if you plan to. Try to have something like a professional clamp to keep the car in place while you drill, instead of holding the car with your hands which is very dangerous. Protect your eyes with safety glasses as plastic and metal shreds from the rivet are known to fly out. Cutting the metal sticks to the right length with pliers also requires great safety and care. Even the experts get injured in this stuff so I'm just warning you. Have fun and be safe!
That was done with a sledgehammer, a classic technique I learned from the famous Damaged Fabulous Hudson Hornet video from 2012 you've probably come across. Thanks for watching!
@@vnc_ghostz Yes, I did. I don't advise slamming the diecasts too hard if you're wanting to attempt it as it often will ruin the decals and body beyond repair kind of like Fiber Fuel in this video who I did my best to save lol
Remaking the original Cars in it's entirety is a priority that will never go away and will be something that will happen in the future, but for now, I would like to make an accurate Radiator Springs and accurate diecasts for the characters which I will still make videos about. I am strongly considering doing the first race though like I did with the last race, but that is after a few priorities have been taken care of for example making more accurate racers
Sorry I don't plan to, but basically all it is is sanding off his original spoiler, hot gluing in a piece of cardstock painted yellow, and hot gluing paperclips or wheel axles for the rods holding up the spoiler. Thanks for watching.

Have fun and be safe!
mattel REALLY needs to hire you
Thanks so much! Would be the dream!
How exactly do you bend the metal? For example the dent in leakless roof
That was done with a sledgehammer, a classic technique I learned from the famous Damaged Fabulous Hudson Hornet video from 2012 you've probably come across. Thanks for watching!
@@TheCarsShifter oohhh alright I see, yeah I saw that famous video
@@TheCarsShifter also, did you use the same hammer to bend the side of Octan gain in a previous video?
@@vnc_ghostz Yes, I did. I don't advise slamming the diecasts too hard if you're wanting to attempt it as it often will ruin the decals and body beyond repair kind of like Fiber Fuel in this video who I did my best to save lol
@@TheCarsShifter alright thanks man
Omg is sooooooo cool like how you make it is so impossible
Are you still gonna make diecast remakes?
Remaking the original Cars in it's entirety is a priority that will never go away and will be something that will happen in the future, but for now, I would like to make an accurate Radiator Springs and accurate diecasts for the characters which I will still make videos about. I am strongly considering doing the first race though like I did with the last race, but that is after a few priorities have been taken care of for example making more accurate racers
I know super late but I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on Rusty’s extended spoiler
Sorry I don't plan to, but basically all it is is sanding off his original spoiler, hot gluing in a piece of cardstock painted yellow, and hot gluing paperclips or wheel axles for the rods holding up the spoiler. Thanks for watching.
Are you Going to make any more Damaged Piston cup racers
Yes. I do plan on it because I have a bunch of templates for them I have already designed. Thanks for watching. :)
@@TheCarsShifter ok your welcome
How are you making things so good?
where did you get the images of the eyes?
The faces are incredibly accurate
Thanks so much! :)
As well, you can see Todd Marcus' face here (it was not visible in the movie when McQueen jumped on Claude)
