For the moroccans claiming that western sahara is not moroccan equals to claming that kashmir is not indian ...it is a very sensitive matter and I hope you don't fall in that trap no matter what some stupid maps shows as an independent country which is pure propaganda and lies cause the reality on the ground this territory is moroccan and is totally controlled by Morocco since its independance from Spain in 1975

I think you got it all wrong friend , the police and military forces you encountered are Moroccans and this is a Moroccan land ...there are no such a thing as saharawi military or police around ...
Western sahara has two parts، Around 80 percentage is controlled by the moroccans rest of the territory is under Polisario. There is a mud wall separating these territories.Most of the people are Hassanian Arabs, they are different from the berber moroccans. Hassanians are originally from Yemen

The polisario does not control 20% of the territory , those are buffer zones deliberately left by Morocco in order to pursue the terrorists without risking to enter the territories of neighboring countries ...Morocco always choses to de-escalate .....these zones are supposed to be demilitarized and patrolled by the UN , but the UN does not do its job so Morocco patrols these zones with drones and watches them with satellites .....every polisario car even those masquerading as civilians are tracked and destroyed when they dare to enter these zones....

In Iran also locals have advised you to put camera inside but still it was safe but I think here in Sahara region you should not take it lightly.

Western Sahara is Dispute area of Morocco. Capital is L Ayun.
disputed is a big word..The reality on the ground is that Morocco controls the whole territory since 1975 ...Polisario are a bunch of terrorist mercenaries who live in Algeria and who claim to represent the people of this area of Morocco when in fact they have nothing to do with this area ....
