I LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA. I literally can’t wait for semester at sea, thank you so much for giving me the inspiration to still apply💕
how was sas as a black girl ? & was hair maintenance throughout the voyage?
honestly, it did take some time to get used to since there were only like 20 black people on the entire ship BUT all of us became very close and the others on the ship were so sweet and nice! (It was very much a white space though) and honestly hair maintenance wasn't that bad! I kept up with my usual routine and wore my hair in my buns, headwraps, etc. up until we got to south Africa and then I got my hair braided! I would also have some of my friends braid my hair from time to time on the ship. There's a salon on the ship but I never ended up going there! I restocked on any hair products I needed once I got to Ghana but I brought a good amount of products to begin with! I hope this helps(:
@@yogabbagabba16125 thank you for answering this question and thank you to the person that asked
Hey! I’m interested in your experience on your voyage, any way we could speak in private?
Hi there! I am Soumaya from Tanger, Morocco. I have been admitted to semester at sea program. I am also struggling because of the cost. I think I am the only Moroccan student in the program. I would love to contact you in private ( over email) for more advice .
