I’m still blown away by this gig. Magically, I managed to snatch a ticket to this gig the day before, from Oslo Norway. Jumped on a plane the next day. Then this happens, my favorite song played live for the first time ever. Both the gig and the trip became a huge turning point for me. So grateful for all their incredible compositions and shows. Words still can’t describe this experience and what it meant to me..
It sounds great in the studio version and it sounds great when it's played live. They should just play their b-sides more often (I know I'm not the first one to say this). It was a blast experiencing this from my screen and I cannot even imagine the feelings I'd go through if I was there when they played this live.
I honestly hope they will play this during the Simulation Theory World Tour. We're gonna have a "Heavy Medley" so what about a "B-side Medley"?? hmmm 🤔 Cheers Rob
I'd personally rather hear the b-sides in their entirety. I'd honestly be kinda upset if i heard the intro to eternally missed and then it switched so another song.
@@PieByte well thats illogical. If they would do a medley of b sides, they obviously wouldn't use the intro, more likely to go from guitar solo to chorus in that case.
@@sitthefuckdown why? those songs are popular for a reason, because they are really good. I wouldn't see a muse show if they didnt include their most famous songs. If they could instead play like 10 minutes longer shows, skip the riff medley that comes after Stockholm syndrome, skip all unnecessary riffing, and play songs like recess, forced in and the small print. that would have been just great. But in the end there are probably many reasons to why they should not do that.
When you put many great songs on an album, then realized there's another great song you made that deserved to be on that album but it was too late LOL This is what happens when talented people unite and I love Muse for that.
I saw one of their interviews where Matt explained that certain sets play better with audiences in different countries; the show in Rome will not be the same show in Moscow, even on the same tour. He used "Resistance" as an example.....plays well in the US, but not in Spain. I thought that discernment was pretty clever.
@@donaldleehackle118 Yeah, people don't understand why bands play certain songs in certain cities or countries. It's not because they're trying to deprive you of hearing your favorite song. But certain crowds are more receptive to certain albums/songs/types of music. They can't play a set of deep cuts for a thousand hardcore fans and leave the other 19.000 people there wondering what they're hearing.

oh my goodness I would completely lose my shit if i saw them play this live. I love this song and the recording is amazing but I feel like his voice here is better suited to it than it was on the recording- it's matured and deepened and those low notes are just really 😘👌
Wow how lucky they were! Always been one of my favourite.. Very nice live performance, even if I would have preferred the solo with a slight delay instead of a whammy effect but what can I say ?
