To this day, I still shake my head at Jeremy throwing his Skate career in the trash. Dude had the biggest sponsors at the time, and was basically set for life. I guess pretending to be a rapper from the hood was the better option 🤷🏻♂️

Honestly I think he has a chill life in this video. I remember watching this when I was in highschool living with my parents thinking how dope it would be living on my own in a beach town getting paid to skate all day. I currently live on my own now working as a paramedic and I still think this video depicts a super chill life(better than my current situation atleast 😂). Jeremey got paid $12,500 a month just from redbull! With his other sponsors at the time, he must of been living a pretty comfortable life! 😁 Boring or not, it beats working 24 hour shifts in an ambulance rig lmao

yeah but as jereme said, he reached his dream of becoming a professional skater, and rode for the companies he viewed as the top of the industry. now hes decided he wants to pursue another dream of his, and the fact he gave up what he was good at, his career, to pursue this crazy dream, should in fact tell us all that we should follow our dreams regardless of how crazy it seems.

he had a rapping career already as well as skating. he had an incident in which he got high and got on the roof of his apartment...naked. and made a huge scene and cops had to bring him down. he lost about 3 major sponsors within a week he lost sponsors including REDBULL and Famous Stars and Straps. he must have figured he would never be respected again in the skateboarding industry and decided it best to retire. he prob still skates and prob gets free shitt. just on the down low

I hate to say it but a lot of the negative feedback people give on Rogers is true. I actually find it really ironic, he threw away this whole life for a potential rap career that showed no real promise. If anyone use to watch Life With Ryan (I know, it sucked, but it did have skateboarding occasionally), when Sheckler was debating dialing skateboarding back for a potential girl and talked to Jereme, It was Jereme who said "we've worked too hard to throw it all away for nothing."

Whereas with a car loan, the bank loans you the money to buy the car from the dealership, and you get to drive the car on day one. You then make monthly payments back to the bank. About 92% of Americans have car loans. I would imagine the percentage of people that buy a new car outright are less than 1%.

its not possible for everyone to be rich. this system we live in runs on supply and demand. because of the poor rich and middle class people are able to afford the things they can. if everyone where to become rich then they whole system would collapse because the demand would overcome the supply. and when that happens companys would need to upgrade production which would cause hyper inflation and everything would go up about 200% then we would be sorta like a comunist nation

well, i hate to bring it up since it's his personal business but he made the decision to quit right after a hospitalization. he was deluded at the time, i think. making rash, irresponsible decisions is rarely a good idea. he ended up having to sell his car among other things. had he planned it out he would've been anticipating selling his car.
