This gentle man is absolutely ignorant of Buddha. He may be knowing about Osho, but he lacks even a rudimentary knowledge and understanding of Lord Buddha.
Osho himself had made a comparison of Buddha with Jesus and with Lord Krishna. While comparing Osho likens jesus as a child and lord Krishna as an ignorant man vis a vis Buddha.
Osho was a man - an ordinary man with countless weaknesses. Buddha had extinguished all human weaknesses. He was all knowing & aware of the past, present & future of creatures.
He had told this to a Prince who enquired about his life as a monk detached from worldly life. Buddha got his enlightenment during meditation, unlike many sages during his lifetime, who tortured themselves without food & water.
Buddha himself had gone through these processes in vain. Buddha was the first to stress the importance of the mind of a living being. Buddha had expounded 4 truths of life & 8 fold paths to enlightenment & escape sufferings.
Buddha himself had stated that the truth of life is hard to understand by men. For them, It would appear as if swimming against the tide.
That was the reason that Buddhism was hailed as the most scientific & universal religion of this world by Einstein, the world famous scientist.
Buddhism is extinct in india, its birth place, but has spread to more than 10 countries. Buddha was the first to deny the permanent athma in a living being & the existence of all powerful God.
He had proved whatever he said to everyone who came to debate with & oppose him. All those opponents later had become his devout disciples lifelong. To compare Buddha with osho is childish.
