I'll never buy a car on finance and am years away from being able to afford an EV for cash that suits my needs which would be an MPV like the Li auto mega, Lucid Gravity, Zeekr 009, XPENG x9 etc but the rate that China seems to be innovating with EVs and bringing prices down it won't be long before the EV market looks like the smartphone market. Great channel by the way!
You are so lucky to have such a large domestic market allowing extremely great value cars. This retails in China for around half the price of a new Hyundai i30 hatch in Australia.
Thanks for another great review. As a market participant in any industry, I'd welcome competition as it forces companies to reconsider those tendencies that lead to stagnation in creativity and innovation. I believe that the current tariff discussion regarding China-made EVs has more to do with the influence of special interest lobbyists than with the prevailing rhetoric pushed by various economies.
In my country, Wuling sell the CloudEV for around $25,000 which is pretty good, they should sell the Starlight here at around the same price, while my people would appreciate 7 seats on a 4.7m car more, this could seriously hurt the dominance of Omoda E5 in its class.

Hello Telescope, This is a great detailed unbiased review of the Wuling Starlight S SUV.
Wuling Starlight S is a pretty impressive vehicle for the price! Very premium.
Aaaah Sean, now you're just rubbing our faces in it.
At 14 grand euros, the Wuling Starlight S is truly a steal.
In India Tata Nexon really needs some serious competition like these cars. Keep it coming great work
Just crazy at what a prices Chinese cars are offered at domestic market

the CloudEV could be an amazing taxi/ride share, lot of leg room, good head room, lot of trunk space
Very interesting, if was selling in Indonesia
Any affordable family friendly electric MPV for 5 tall people and decent range but without all the bells and whistles?
Please review Dongfeng nammi 01/ box ..
Bring it to the EU and sell it for €20.000. Will be a sales hit.
pls review Nammi 01
Yes under the Brand Name MG in India with 100% Duty.
原來 PHEV 的車身重量
相較 BEV 車重的分別
只係輕咗 100kg 咁少
如果 入滿 汽油,相信 重量的差別 會更細 ~
Independent suspension for 14k is insane
Please come to indonesia
🎉
Please don't tell me this is the new zs EV 2025😅

Wuling couldn't swing the $1.50, or less, wholesale per unit wireless charging circuit? 🤣

I live in the stupidly administration-driven, slow, old EU... I envy you....
Better than the U.S. I envy both of you.
It kinda looks like a Buick.
Nice car replacing wuling almaz
It will never be 14.000 euro in europe... My country has three (3!) taxes on new cars so it will be around 30.000 euro after taxes...
