Hi Dan, thank you so much for the advice you've given me over on you Patreon page. It has been invaluable in my decision making process and incredible value for money.
Just discovered your channel and love your content and presentation 👍 I am shocked that you are allowed to come right up to the beach in Australia. Here in Sardinia you can't come within 200m of a beach or 100m of any other place. In the video you also mentioned there were divers in the water, do they not have to have a little buoy attached to them to indicate their position when so close to the coast?
Generally no. You'll find that because these hull types are light and the resistance into the next wave is lower that they slice across most waves and are extremely dry. However - if you drive them super hard into steep waves that is when you can literally punch the bow into it and take a green wave onboard. You really have to be driving 35 - 40kts+ and not observing the conditions for that to happen. Or be going directly into a very steep short wave period offshore conditions. Hope that makes sense
The Saxdor design fits the 270 best
Still one of my favourite boat with in my price range. Good to see some offshore action
Very interesting and informative, thanks 👍

Whale @8:00 in case people missed that one!
Nice
I would assume this is not a cheap boat and you cant adjust the helm seat?
There boats do not have a bow flare, are they “wet” boats in a sea?
