Nice patterns for anywhere around the globe. I have a bunch of them tried and true as well as new ones to try on my next Bahamas trip in a few weeks. Happy fly fishing!

Hello again. The Bahamas were beautiful as always. First stop first day was empty of fish but we found a big school when we moved back inside. Sharks helped keep them pinned between us and the shore while we picked off a bunch of them before the tide provided an escape. The rest of the week blew NE like mad but we found some bonefish everyday fishing the muds and some flats stalking. Gotchas, crab patterns, stealth flies, (which were not on your list)and bitters worked best.

This is an excellent overview of productive bonefish flies and why they work. It’s clear to me you fish a great deal and know what you are talking about- thanks for posting this video!

Very good video!! The use of the flies, the idea behind them, great stuff. Although I must say that some of the Gotcha variants are a bit too close to show here as different flies. But as I have never been to a location with milkfish, I guess it is worth showing them for other anglers.

Incredibly informative, thanks a lot! I'm planning my first bonefishtrip this year and this helps me enourmesly. Because i don't have a destination yet... I'm looking for a nice surrounding, nice local people, and not too crowded with fishermen. The fish doesn't have to be very huge, but i do like variety in species. Any suggestions? But, THANNKS anyway!
