    Wow, didn´t know that it actually clips at 0dB even if Soft Clip button is NOT engaged! That changes everything! I now use Analog Clip mode (without color, high quality mode off and Soft clip button off) on the master and get super close to how FL Soft Clipper sounds, which i always was after and didn´t get no matter what Soft Clipper i tried. Even made a video about it on my channel. Thank you so much for that information! ❤

    I've been using the Ableton stock saturator for at least 3 years and this really provided a lot of clarity as to what the effect is actually doing. Great video, this was super helpful!

    That's great to know about the clipping, I always wondered if Ableton had it built in and thought it must be in Saturator somewhere

      It's incredibly useful. It's not the best sounding clipping, but it definitely works!

      I don't use any actual analogue saturators but sometimes I'll use some analogue emulations. None in particular really though.

    Oh wow so thats why I stopped using saturator for a while . Didnt knew there was a hi quality setting and apparently was on from factory . Thanks
