I hated Summoned to Another World for a Second Time. It rarely showed the main character fighting and seemed to skip most of the good parts I enjoy in Isekai shows. The show seemed more like filler episodes than anything. I think I gave the show 8 episodes and then quit in frustration.
That's why I stopped even when reading the manga. I heard that the novel didn't go in the same direction the anime and manga went in that it was more serious, not turning the female knight captain into a masochist and the other guy into the MC's punching bag. But for the actual story, it still didn't do a good enough job with the world building and plot development to create an engaging story to keep people's attention. The heroines borderline on Yandere level obsession while MC is doing his own thing while every reveals could be seen coming a mile away, from the kingdom forcibly returning him to his home world to them restarting the war with demons over the hero being forcibly sent away against his will after having charisma'd the demon princess.
Farming Life in Another World.. love the running resignation joke. That and when he tells his dog, "Been a while since I got a big one!" Campfire Cooking is my second favorite. Handyman is my third one.
Campfire cooking in another world was able to do a good job: the only complaint I had with the anime was when Lambert and the mercs mooch off of Mukohda, they don't show what the Light Novel and Manga did: that for his, Fel's and Sui's parts in stopping the bandits, they didn't show Mukohda getting paid for it before they got to the guild. Otherwise it felt the others did a "dine and dash"/"eat and run"/"stiff the chef" since all they gave was "goodwill" and we still see Mukohda broke and out his ingredients. Showing Mukohda paid meant it "wasn't for nothing" but cutting that out made him look like he "got chumped by the moochers."
Maybe not I the traditional sense, but she DOES live 7 separate kinds of lives from the same point in life and one can reasonably believe that they are second chances, third chances and so on. So isekai-like may be more appropriate but it isn't entirely wrong.

You forgot doctor Elise is kinda badass, every episode is good, and is canon to story moving on effortlessly; you missed born as a vending machine also has no bad episodes, and reborn as sword had one or two slow episodes but that's a good one as well, I loved all these anime which you recommended in your video. So many of these sounded nearly identical to each other I had to double check to see which ones I actually watched. I'm really feeling kind of burned out on "overpowered protagonist uses cheat skill to easily defeat every enemy that stands in their way" anime. I want more anime like "The Weakest Tamer Began A Journey to Pick Up Trash."
Summoned to Another world for a second time: Cool concept, awful execution (in the anime at least, can't confirm for manga). Most of the episodes are of him having lengthy flashbacks to his first time, then having the other character have the exact same lengthy flashback from their perspective, and sometimes the SAME slightly less but still lengthy flashback from a 3rd or 4th perspective, with very little taking place in the here and now during the supposed second time. It was in my opinion, not good, cool idea though. If you liked In-Specter and its rambling repeat tell the same story 40 times, you'll probably enjoy this.
While I love Campfire Cooking, the kingdom that summoned Mukohda isn't as much of an existential threat as all that. He peaces out of the kingdom pretty much immediately (he liked to read isekai webnovels on his days off, so he knew what was up), and learns later (Spoilers)v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v from the God of Creation, Demiurge (the god over all the other gods and goddesses) that the kingdom of Reijseger is practically destined to be destroyed (without any divine intervention required, though Demiurge would do so if necessary) due to the shady crap they were trying to pull, including the hero summoning. See, the hero summoning is basically a giant tunneling spell that connects two worlds. One little slip, and both worlds could be destroyed. This is also why Mukohda and the other three teens can't be sent home. But don't feel bad for the teens; they enter into a three-way marriage with each other, and Mukohda even provides them with an elixir to restore the mage girl's severed arm. Feel bad, instead, for Mukohda, who is destined to be forever alone (his luck-in-love stat is, according to the gods, abysmal). Only one woman in the world has shown interest in him so far, and she's an elf grandmother (looks like a young woman though) who really only wants him because of his cooking. And he's not about the gmilf life.
I thought it was hilarious, in a good way, that in 80,000 gold - they quickly turn it into a Gate remix near the end lol. I wish Dead Mount Death Play got more recognition but it suffered heavily due to poor advertising. Most people didn't even know what it was before it came out.
i really enjoyed the story though i was weirded out by the wearing of the skulls in his homeworld by his teacher and him. Is there a lore reason for this or was it just a purely aesthetic thing?
Avoid "Am i actually the strongest?" if you dislike lazy protagonists, and "I got a cheat skill in another world." if you dislike overpowered characters with a doormat personality.
Yuuya has a good reason to have a doormat personality. But he gets better. In the LN it happens faster than in the manga/anime, but the major improvement does happen after the anime ends.

listen i love all of these anime ( except summon to another world for a second time[not sure why i just couldnt get into it]) that said you are correct there are no bad episodes... that said there are no great episodes in any of these either... they are just anime to watch to spend time and relax rather then get immersed in
all anime is dubbed. subs are released a little earlier, 1-2 weeks max. so far i have never seen an anime fully released that does NOT have a (separate) version with all episodes dubbed

Campfire Cooking is easily better than most animes on the list. Everytime I am on vacay, its a must watch for me, the count so far is 15 times. Watched all the others except Raeliana and the Foolish Angel. My Instant Death gets boring towards the end, after he enters the tower, the show gets chaotic. Dead Mount is also mid, the best character is the zombie girl/Assassasin. The list is missing quite a few, Rising of the Shield Hero S1 is amazing, S2 is not tht fun. Bofuri, Gate, Reincarnated as a Sword, Restaurant to Another World, Uncle from Another World is funny AF etc... iF anyone wants a dark reincarnation anime. I mean really dark then give Redo Of Healer a try.
Farming Life, while MC surrounds himself with a village full of women, he's chosen his girl, so I don't consider it a harem series. Season 2 might change things up, of course, rumored 2026. Saving 80,000 gold has two bad episodes at the end of the season, where it looks like they ran out of animation budget and started recycling frames, especially for the goblin horde. Handyman Saitou has an episode where the party is just standing around gawking as an enemy caster does a ritual in front of them, and they don't even try to interrupt or attack. Dropped. Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil, awful premise, straight up drop after one. Instant Death introduces so many side NPCs that it's hard to keep track of them all, total nonsensical. 8/10 list.
Saving 80k took me off guard at the end, suddenly going full force. It does look like they were running out of time, but then again, the ending was a big one, so I expected some cheap cuts to make it faster.
Instant Death has so many side characters for them to just drop dead or for comedic purposes. It’s main carry is literally the comedy and I enjoyed it.

Did I miss some episode or Dub translations from Farming in Another world? I thought by the end he only had 1 actual wife with one kid. The rest were more like hot neighbors than wives/girlfriends.
Might be the anime? In the manga it’s mentioned every so often. But, imo, it’s not focused on so much that it detracts from the story. But, basically, he is the only man in the entire village capable/willing to reproduce with the other women and you can do the math from there. It’s mostly played for laughs instead of the usual isekai generic wish fulfillment as a big goal of his is getting other men to join the village. I think the narrator may have exaggerated the amount of wives he has, though. Iirc, it was closer to 3ish and the rest just want children.
Seventh Time Loop is not an Isekai. It is a fantasy reincarnation, but RIsche does not travel to another world. Just the same world, over and over. I'm not sure Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil counts either. Whether or not heaven/hell count as different worlds varies from story to story. I skipped the anime for Farming Life in Another World. I liked the manga a lot. At first. Then it got slow and repetitive.
Campfire Cooking In Another World is the absolute worst anime to watch... while hungry. Do Not, & I Repeat, DO NOT Watch This Anime On An Empty Stomach. You Will Regret It.
I really wish we could get more isekais like Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. No cheat powers. No starting at level 99. No insta-harem. Kinda feels like viewers don't have that kind of attention span or capacity for delayed gratification anymore.

My Instant Death Ability was great at first. Not for the protagonist, who is rather bland, but for the worldbuilding. There are cars, trains, and skyscrapers alongside Dragons, Knights, and Magic. Then there are invaders who act very much like invaders in a Dark Souls game. This world is protected by overpowered people who supernatural skills and powers called sages. I was hoping I would get some answers as to why this world summons people from our world to become these sages. But I never did. And while devoting significant time to the protagonist's backstory, we never do get an explanation as to how or why he ends up at the Institute. Because it ended without these explanations, I deemed it not good and not worth rewatching.

Most of the episodes are of him having lengthy flashbacks to his first time, then having the other character have the exact same lengthy flashback from their perspective, and sometimes the SAME slightly less but still lengthy flashback from a 3rd or 4th perspective, with very little taking place in the here and now during the supposed second time. It was in my opinion, not good, cool idea though. If you liked In-Specter and its rambling repeat tell the same story 40 times, you'll probably enjoy this.

See, the hero summoning is basically a giant tunneling spell that connects two worlds. One little slip, and both worlds could be destroyed. This is also why Mukohda and the other three teens can't be sent home. But don't feel bad for the teens; they enter into a three-way marriage with each other, and Mukohda even provides them with an elixir to restore the mage girl's severed arm. Feel bad, instead, for Mukohda, who is destined to be forever alone (his luck-in-love stat is, according to the gods, abysmal). Only one woman in the world has shown interest in him so far, and she's an elf grandmother (looks like a young woman though) who really only wants him because of his cooking. And he's not about the gmilf life.
I thought it was hilarious, in a good way, that in 80,000 gold - they quickly turn it into a Gate remix near the end lol.
I wish Dead Mount Death Play got more recognition but it suffered heavily due to poor advertising. Most people didn't even know what it was before it came out.
i really enjoyed the story though i was weirded out by the wearing of the skulls in his homeworld by his teacher and him. Is there a lore reason for this or was it just a purely aesthetic thing?

Avoid "Am i actually the strongest?" if you dislike lazy protagonists, and "I got a cheat skill in another world." if you dislike overpowered characters with a doormat personality.
Yuuya has a good reason to have a doormat personality. But he gets better. In the LN it happens faster than in the manga/anime, but the major improvement does happen after the anime ends.

listen i love all of these anime ( except summon to another world for a second time[not sure why i just couldnt get into it]) that said you are correct there are no bad episodes... that said there are no great episodes in any of these either... they are just anime to watch to spend time and relax rather then get immersed in

all anime is dubbed. subs are released a little earlier, 1-2 weeks max.

Campfire Cooking is easily better than most animes on the list. Everytime I am on vacay, its a must watch for me, the count so far is 15 times. Watched all the others except Raeliana and the Foolish Angel. My Instant Death gets boring towards the end, after he enters the tower, the show gets chaotic. Dead Mount is also mid, the best character is the zombie girl/Assassasin. The list is missing quite a few, Rising of the Shield Hero S1 is amazing, S2 is not tht fun. Bofuri, Gate, Reincarnated as a Sword, Restaurant to Another World, Uncle from Another World is funny AF etc... iF anyone wants a dark reincarnation anime. I mean really dark then give Redo Of Healer a try.
Farming Life, while MC surrounds himself with a village full of women, he's chosen his girl, so I don't consider it a harem series. Season 2 might change things up, of course, rumored 2026.
Saving 80,000 gold has two bad episodes at the end of the season, where it looks like they ran out of animation budget and started recycling frames, especially for the goblin horde.
Handyman Saitou has an episode where the party is just standing around gawking as an enemy caster does a ritual in front of them, and they don't even try to interrupt or attack. Dropped.
Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil, awful premise, straight up drop after one. Instant Death introduces so many side NPCs that it's hard to keep track of them all, total nonsensical. 8/10 list.
Saving 80k took me off guard at the end, suddenly going full force. It does look like they were running out of time, but then again, the ending was a big one, so I expected some cheap cuts to make it faster.
Instant Death has so many side characters for them to just drop dead or for comedic purposes. It’s main carry is literally the comedy and I enjoyed it.

Did I miss some episode or Dub translations from Farming in Another world? I thought by the end he only had 1 actual wife with one kid. The rest were more like hot neighbors than wives/girlfriends.
Might be the anime? In the manga it’s mentioned every so often. But, imo, it’s not focused on so much that it detracts from the story.
But, basically, he is the only man in the entire village capable/willing to reproduce with the other women and you can do the math from there. It’s mostly played for laughs instead of the usual isekai generic wish fulfillment as a big goal of his is getting other men to join the village.
I think the narrator may have exaggerated the amount of wives he has, though. Iirc, it was closer to 3ish and the rest just want children.
Watch out for Number 3 there, it was written by the same guy who wrote the complete dumpster-fire....Evolution Fruit.......ya, that one.
Seventh Time Loop is not an Isekai. It is a fantasy reincarnation, but RIsche does not travel to another world. Just the same world, over and over.

My Instant Death Ability was great at first. Not for the protagonist, who is rather bland, but for the worldbuilding. There are cars, trains, and skyscrapers alongside Dragons, Knights, and Magic. Then there are invaders who act very much like invaders in a Dark Souls game. This world is protected by overpowered people who supernatural skills and powers called sages. I was hoping I would get some answers as to why this world summons people from our world to become these sages. But I never did. And while devoting significant time to the protagonist's backstory, we never do get an explanation as to how or why he ends up at the Institute. Because it ended without these explanations, I deemed it not good and not worth rewatching.
