please show on you how you measured the band...jaw to jaw, around your face. did it lay flat against your face, or did you just touch tge edge of it jaw to jar, up arou d the yopof your forehead?
I just held it up from the bottom of my jaw over to the bottom of my other jaw like the finished hat looks in the photo. Just make it the length that fits the face of the person you are making it for. Yes, the latter of your statements.
After I finished the stockinette stage and knitting 6 inches, it was tome to knot in the round. My working yearn was on the left needle and I noticed your e ded upbringing on the right. I can't get mine to join, so when I was choosing my wrong side right side, was the side your working on of importance or am I just not doing it properly.
You know if you end up on the incorrect side you could always snip the yarn and flip the hat and attach the yarn and start on the correct side. You will just have an extra end to weave in. Or you can knit an extra round to get to the correct place I don’t think one extra round should hurt the size too much. Let me know if that helps Gemma 💕💕💕💕Marie
