I may have missed this but did you use two different skeins of the multi color that had the same colors “timed” or same length or had same skein and waited to loop back around to the start color?
I used two self striping skeins and some natural yarn held with them. So a self striping and natural yarn held together for each leg warmer. The self striping set came with two identical dyed 1/2 skeins. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks 🩷Marie
hello from the western slope!! im going to use this vid to practice the long tail cast on. im nowhere near using dpn's but...practice cant hurt. btw, how long have you been knitting?
Hey Romayne, I just looked in my Ravelry and it looks like I started knitting around December 2007 maybe. I recall I was living in Georgia and a lady named Diana taught me to knit on my lunch break. I was crocheting a baby blanket for a co worker and she wanted to teach me to knit. I recall making a dishcloth then some fingerless mitts. You can do it. I learned on DPN’s that’s why they are still one of my favorite ways to knit. But you should use whatever you like. 👍💞💞Marie
I love you knitting videos. How do I size this down for a 6 year old?
You can try with 64 stitches and see how it goes. 😊 Thanks Marie
