I use Vallejo Metal Color Copper rather than Sycorax Bronze which is more like porridge than paint. Its not massively different even though the one is called bronze and the other copper lol. Great guide as always!
Hey good question! Because I was going to weather them I wanted the start with the brightest possible metal color I could find. Maybe a black primer might have been enough but I didn’t want to take any chances
thank you for the painting tutorial that you have created.
My pleasure 😊
Great tutorial! Tight edits, great content. Thank you!
Appreciate it!
LOVE the object source lighting. great work!
Thank you! Very kind :)
Looks cool.
Cheers!
I liked the old GW wash formula more, how it got into the recesses but shaded the base colors also. I switched to army painter tones full time.
That usually have my preference as well but the new ones have their use as well
Famous last words :) nevertheless I agree. Amazing model range. Great job. I love your videos!
Thank you very much!
@@ThePutridPainter btw. "Top Brass" from two thin coats is a valid substitute for sycorac bronze
Thanks for the tip! I will check it out :)

Thanks for the tip! I don’t mind the consistency of Sycorax but it just doesn’t cover at all!
Why are you doing multiple layers of priming and then just covering with the Aluminum? Wouldn't you need a black primer and then the aluminum at most?
