This Yankee team in a nut-shell: Getting swept by the Reds at home. If Hal does not think there is a problem with this entire team including management, then he just does not care about being the owner of the New York freaking Yankee's. As long as the stadium keeps making money, and people still keep coming to the games and traveling with the team and going to games on the road, nothing well EVER change. Us fans need to take money out of his pocket and then maybe, MAYBE he will do something to get a winning team again.

Aaron Boone isn't a winning manager. He doesn't hold his players accountable at all!!! He's also not a good decision maker. Cora always out-manages him every time. Yes he needs to go. The Astros aren't rivals if you can't beat them in any big games. Maybe a rivalry for Yankees and their fans. Why would I think of the Yankees as rivals?

Baseball knowledge or legacy does not equal managerial smarts. BaBoone has been repeatedly out-managed by other managers. Exhibit A: Every series against Boston this year. Stop defending a manager who may be "liked" by his players, but is not respected. An effective manager gets the most out of his players and knows how to develop talent by teaching the fundamentals. An effective manager also knows how to dig deep when things are not going well. BaBoone does not know how to do any of that. If Hank has any respect for their fans, they would admit that BaBoone has not been the answer and make a change.
Judge doesn’t have the spine to hold his teammates accountable. Same as Boone. I literally only trust Stroman to do that.

EVERY game that they put pressure on the defense by bunting and small ball this year, they won. How do they not transition to small ball when they're hitless into the 5th inning with the pitcher sitting on 40 pitches? Bostons defense is terrible, SO WHY NOT PUT PRESSURE ON THEM!?!? It's up to the manager to change the direction of the game and when all 9 players are swinging out of their shoes and whiffing or popping up, the strategy has to be adjusted!
I understand players are different now, managers are different now etc., but human beings are not any different now than they were 100 years ago. The players are going to 100% adopt the personality of their manager. If your manager is Mister freaking Rogers, the product on the field will be predictable.....totally pathetic.
Yep it all sounds good and I agree but unfortunately we live in a world and a country now where there is no concept of taking pride in history or tradition. Everything is about the individual so good luck talking about monument park or Thurman Munson. That’s why guys jog around the bases smiling and pointing to the sky after they hit a solo home run when the team is down 8-0. That behavior is encouraged and glorified. God forbid you yell at them or correct them. You’d be the first one fired for being insensitive, offensive or discriminating. Nothing you can do about it because baseball and all sports are just a reflection of society and it’s engraved in their very being. Just have to hold on for the ride and hope your team scores more runs than the other team while dancing around the bases, pointing to the heavens and wearing whatever color shoes you want to wear, headgear, gold chains etc. That’s what matters now. @@pumared1817 You realize that no matter who he puts in the lineup, what order they bat, or which relief pitchers he brings in he’s screwed. They have no bullpen, and they have no one that can hit. The hitting issue has been going on for years. That’s on the front office.
The manager sets the tone with the players. Being nice to the players whom don’t hustle..plays nonchalant is on the manager. There’s other Major league clubs that have less talent/injuries plays harder smarter than the Yankees. injuries are excuses. But that all being said Cashman has the bulk of the blame and the owners. Having a good/smart discipline, manager matters.
