  • Kubota L2501 weld on chain hooks. This was rush job. Really didn’t have time to weld like I wanted. It needs a couple more passes. #fluxcore #homesteading #bluedemonwelding #hobart #kubotatractor #kubota #welding

Keep working. As for the weld in the last hook bead, I think you are going to need a lot more penetration between the hook and the bucket material than I can see in the video. If it pulls off then you will know it wasn't good enough. Tom Lipton says that "Nothing built too strong ever broke".

I really wanted a pass above and below the root. It was a rush job and I needed to wrap it up/ paint. Thanks for the help and watching

Thank you. Welding is definitely a perishable skill. Hopefully it holds

Just seen this video, hope all goes well, I mount a 2 inch reciever tube in the center of my tractor buckets, where you put that third hook....makes attaching things that are not a chain easy and gives the option for a reciever ball or other things. The outside hooks are in good spots I try to line those up with the loder arms that way if I hook just one side it's pulling right in line with the loader (in Theory) .....good video and i just found you channel we are over in Scott County..
