MSG tastes like chicken bullion without the chicken because most chicken bullion has MSG or at least yeast extract. MSG has about 35-40% less sodium than regular table salt. I think adding a bit of salt to the cucumber slices and then wait for 10 minutes would have made the shaking work. Salt helps to collapse them, while releasing their water, so more room in the container and more liquid to loosen up the cream cheese. I have to try this recipe, it looks delicious.

What you did in the video was fine, but at 3:52 you could have just stuck the cucumber stump on the guard slider to finish the last few centimeters. You don't need my assistance, you are doing great. Just a few pointers among fellow chefs ;)
A few tips. Add the sale to the cucumber layer, it will help thin out the cream cheese because the cucumber will release it's juice. Put the cream cheese in the layer of cucumber instead of on top. add tomato. this will add more juice and help thin out the cream cheese too. I'm a cucumber head!

Please, please, please be careful using a mandolin, LookCatchu!!! I was slicing some potatoes with one & NOT using the handguard, just holding the potato in my hand and WHAM! I literally cut my right hand middle fingertip OFF! Not just cut my finger, cut the end of my finger completely OFF!!! I immediately held my finger under the faucet to wash the blood off to see exactly how bad it was, but every time I took it out from the stream of water, it was like filling a glass with liquid to the top & NOT stopping pouring! OMG it hurt so bad... My wife had to pick thru the potato slices to find my fingertip, which we put in a ziplock bag with ice & rushed to the emergency room, my hand wrapped in a bloody towel. Unfortunately, they were not able to reattach my fingertip. That was in 2011 & still to this day my finger is extremely sensitive. For years any touch at all to my fingertip felt like painful electricity from the severed nerves... like when you touch your tongue to a 9v battery to see if it's dead? Like that feeling! Do they even make 9v batteries anymore? Geez, I'm old... LOL Anyways, please be careful! 🙏❤️

PLUS I saw a video on RUclips for making chicken rice in a bread machine where they cooked a whole chicken in the bread machine, as well as rice. I'd never do that because I have a rice cooker and I normally do my chicken in the slow cooker or air fryer.

@@lookcatchu I made goulash tonight.. made sure I put aside hamburger for Thor, but he wouldn't eat it til I mixed in some goulash, lol. Then he had some of his Dogster ice cream for dessert. I bought a dog grooming vacuum kit (videos on RUclips). He lets me brush his teeth with his dog toothpaste and cut his nails.. will jump on my lap to do either. He loves his hair brushed so I used the dog vacuum brush turned off and he was a bit unsure but let me, then I turned it on and well, let's say it will take some (a lot of) patience and work. He kept trying to bite the brush. But he needs a hair cut and I can't afford $50 for the groomer all the time, want to start doing it myself.

Please, please, please be careful using a mandolin, LookCatchu!!! I was slicing some potatoes with one & NOT using the handguard, just holding the potato in my hand and WHAM! I literally cut my right hand middle fingertip OFF! Not just cut my finger, cut the end of my finger completely OFF!!! I immediately held my finger under the faucet to wash the blood off to see exactly how bad it was, but every time I took it out from the stream of water, it was like filling a glass with liquid to the top & NOT stopping pouring! OMG it hurt so bad... My wife had to pick thru the potato slices to find my fingertip, which we put in a ziplock bag with ice & rushed to the emergency room, my hand wrapped in a bloody towel. Unfortunately, they were not able to reattach my fingertip. That was in 2011 & still to this day my finger is extremely sensitive. For years any touch at all to my fingertip felt like painful electricity from the severed nerves... like when you touch your tongue to a 9v battery to see if it's dead? Like that feeling! Do they even make 9v batteries anymore? Geez, I'm old... LOL Anyways, please be careful! 🙏❤️

PLUS I saw a video on RUclips for making chicken rice in a bread machine where they cooked a whole chicken in the bread machine, as well as rice. I'd never do that because I have a rice cooker and I normally do my chicken in the slow cooker or air fryer.

I bought a dog grooming vacuum kit (videos on RUclips). He lets me brush his teeth with his dog toothpaste and cut his nails.. will jump on my lap to do either. He loves his hair brushed so I used the dog vacuum brush turned off and he was a bit unsure but let me, then I turned it on and well, let's say it will take some (a lot of) patience and work. He kept trying to bite the brush. But he needs a hair cut and I can't afford $50 for the groomer all the time, want to start doing it myself.
