      Yes! And the Adam Fischer/Austro-Hungarian Haydn Orchestra version is heartbreaking....

    One of the most beautiful among the early Haydn's symphonies, the father of this genre, bravo for the ensemble

      Haydn is *not* the ‘Father of the Symphony’ (‘…the father of this genre’).

      @@elaineblackhurst1509 Sure, there's Stamitz and Mannheimers, Sammartini, Monn, and Wagenseil. But it's Haydn's musical DNA that is all over the symphonic music of the latter 18th Century and nearly all of the 19th, into the 20th, would you agree?
