Reactors' Commandments when Prince holds court: 1) Thou shalt never pause during the arc of a guitar solo (you didn't...but it's worth repeating), and 2) Thou shalt never, ever, pause in the midst of a torrent of Prince screams. That is all...now go forth and enjoy the fullness of all that Prince has to offer, and continue to share this manna with those who have ears to listen. May you live to see the Dawn...peace and be wild. 💜
One of my favourite performances "The Question of U" and "The One" - but this version too is the best IMHO. Candy Dulfer (his saxophonist) did a great job of "Fallen" too. She learned to play sax from her dad at age 6. Great reaction! Miss Prince 💜💜
Like someone said he didn't keep the money to himself, this man was a hell of a philanthropist, and he didn't want any credit for it, when he gave the money no one knew it came from, he helped a lot of organizations, He was a giver !
I used to take casual fans and even some non believers to see him and this is an example of the kind of moments when I’d turn and see their faces change, like they got it. And they did. And Coachella 2008 was the biggest example of this. Watching an entire generation realize in real time that he was who he was and better than anyone they love and thought were great.
That was super fire 🔥🔥🔥 I was lucky enough to see Alicia Keys perform with Prince "Nothing Compares 2 U" "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore" and a dual piano medley. Prince is good on the piano but Alicia....wow she was a level up on those keys. There is so much hidden video out there I hope RUclips lets it all play because we all deserve some Prince music! "He ain't that one" who kept the money for himself. He always made continuous donations to different causes and collectives: Black Lives Matters, shelters, schools, organizations, public libraries, etc. all over the USA. And we are talking about millions of dollars. They discovered in the tax records those donations and that he declared to dedicate at least 5 hours a week to these causes.
I was watching another RUclipsr's reaction to Prince's Purple Rain. If you haven't done, so check out: Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain (Live in Syracuse, March 30, 1985). You will definitely flip over this version, I did. R.I.Paradise Prince ⚘️😇🙏🏽🎤🎸🎶💖
