I had thought about doing one of these for a longer haul tow rig. I thought of running a 9 speed manual trans, DT466 or 6.7 Cummins and running 19.5's because I like more sidewall than most others. Put a western hauler type bed on it, keep a longer frame so I can put an aux fuel tank or toolbox up top or something. Idk, crazy J.C type of thought process I had. Oh, and Air ride the rear end. Like an International ProStar air ride or medium duty air ride. Shoot idk, possibilities are endless!
ummm nah, these should have a 6v53 in them which was available at the time and was a upgrade option from the gasser... makes good noises. Everybody has a cummins yet another one would be.. we'll it'd be OK but not all that interesting.
The body and chassiss of that Loadstar look solid. I wouldn't mind driving and old truck like that.

You want a dt466 motor and a Eaton r13 trans. Keep it international. Your gonna ruin it putting a cummy in there. I'm sure it's a 345 gasser in it
