Just did a setup of my own picked up from Lowes. Have had A LOT of Zooglia issues on my 2 year old system. My local HVAC contractor is testing iFlo at the moment before making then part of new installs, so I decided after another typical Zooglia back up (Even ShopVacs won't suck these bad boys out sometimes) I went down to Lowes and got one. Drilled the hole into the drain line using the provided jig and drill bit in the kit. System will feed back into the pan and partially down the condensation line as well. Was planning to do the clean out adapter for the iFlo only but then my pan wouldn't get any of the solution at all. Was really easy. Planning to do one as well onto my mother's HVAC system down the road as well.

Old school tip for killing zooglia in secondary pan - throw a little scrap copper in there, maybe some pennies (Not in the drain obviously). The copper inhibits the growth.

I’ve had mine a week. I don’t love the smell it’s making in my house. Definitely a damp wet smell and I’m not digging it.
Any advice? I guess I can have the guys come back out and install it into the lines. I imagine the smell is coming from it being in the pan.
Have you had this complaint much yet?

It has 10 deposits over 6 months. It doesn't release the probiotic all the time. Do you have a heat pump?

This is awful. It squirts liquid into a condensate pan, it doesn’t need to know everything about you, or have internet access for that matter.

It tells me if the bottle is empty and if the system loses power or has a drain issue.

The iFLO connects to the wifi in your home and requests location information so it can monitor humidity and temperature levels in your area in order to create a customized dispense schedule that is most optimal for your air handler. It doesn't just dispense liquid, it also makes certain none goes to waste and it is only used when needed most 👍
