    IMHO, i would definitely like to have players lose a percentage of [remaining] resources (say, 50%) when they delete partially constructed buildings (once/after construction starts, so this shouldn't affect misclicks).
    good balance between macro and micro is needed - the attacker has invested resources into planning the attack and getting the unit at that place, and that is nullified because of a partial building? (especially using market as a wall in feudal age). and to add on to that, delete it later to reclaim the left over resources?
    i would at least like to see players lose about 50% of left over resources when deleting.
    i am sure this idea has been floated many times before as well.

      They do lose resources based on the % built, it's just with quickwalls that they only build about 1% so they only pay about 1% of the building cost.
      Making it at always least 50% would be very damaging for 'normal' gameplay when buildings get denied or misplaced.
