As someone who’s done several brutal runs, UIU is mostly just a meat shield and a liability during Kraken since the npcs will try to kill tents MCD is only used for grinds and these days aren’t used at all because UIU Raid exists GOC is really useful for getting Delta and the increased damage but tends to fail because some jerk decides to build fog machine No Ally is a go to and how i won my first brutal run.
Allies that are good for DW runs! (In public servers.) First lets get rid of the 2 MCD and UIU there useless. Now the 2 big hitters are No Ally and GOC GOC gives you more bullet power and STR. Giving you 2 guns M249 and M870 is an giant pick for players in DW No ally is actually so good. Giving so many buffs once you bought everything from the shop. MTF units deal 16+ damage while normal operatives do 8+ In my opinion the best ally is no ally. (This only applies to classic map!)
No ally don't seem that bad . I have played many brutal games on public lobbies . The ONLY one that came closer is too winning was the one with no ally . While the game took forever and everyone was probably board out of their minds No ally was able to hold it's own for a while It be like this We would push forward The monsters would push us back and repeat and until finally we lost
Correct tierlist (dont even): No. 4 | MCD (Not much to say, its just not good. Slowdown is overrated and the most notable thing about this ally is that they sell $300,000 dollar lollipops. (Also the most overrated item in the game.)) No. 3 | UIU (Again, not much to say. It's nowhere near as bad as MCD but can't keep up with GOC and SCPF. Overall, it's mid.) No. 2 | GOC (Good ally, airdrops are kinda useless but money is no longer a problem if it was in the first place. Besides that, it's overall very good.) (Edit: Also there's Delta.) No. 1 | SCPF. (It gives you a fodder unit so you can commit yoshicide in case of a leak, buffs every stat the player has, and gives you a freaking military grade massive turret. The length of the rounds don't matter when everyone is a super buff olympic sprinter with anomalously lethal bullets and they have a massive turret.)
I agree with the first 2, but MCD and GOC are different MCD is good for grinding materials and levels + the MCD Engineer book GOC is good for Operatives, Badges and things like this
It depends if you want a challenge and have a lot of time go with no ally if you want to use more npc when there is less then 10 player ally with UIU you can also unlock a UIU assault operative if you win brutal if you want more firepower and weapons buff ally with GOC you also get to unlock a GOC operative when you win brutal and if you want to get more rare material to craft items like potion or weapons ally with MCD

i wouldn't say some know of mcd when it comes to the ally mechanics and their lore though there was the ally war or whatever before uiu was ever added some old players that still play knows of it but mcd isn't really used as much due to the uiu raid and well the mcd event was effectively a year ago so its not really needed anymore even so when making the axe.

airdrops aren’t really useless tbh, helps new players get into the game more quickly because there’s an available AK-47

Atleast outside at brutal mode uıu is the best choice for solo or duo or smth like that
