What sold me was Tim's explanation of where and when he uses this fly here in the NE. Definitely will tie this pattern when the months turn colder. Thanks Tim!

Hello Tim. This fly is similar to the golden retriever. It’s no wonder that it performs well! Great fly for most destinations here in the NE. Nice showing your friends catching those brook trout. Many thanks.

That sounds like a good one. As many Buggers as I've tied and fished, I can't believe I never gave this color scheme a thought.

This is about as good looking a Woolly Bugger as we will ever see. Sweet!

Oooooohhh. I know what I'm going to be adding to my fly fishing battle pack box. Lol Hey hope all is well with you and yours. This will probably do good for our annual Henry's Lake and Eastern Idaho camping trips we've been taking for a few years now. Can't wait to tie some up. Tight lines my Brotha...

Great looking bugger. I tie a ginger bugger that slays local trout in my area. I really like the tube version and will be trying it soon

    Hey Tim,
You always open my eyes to a new idea. I have some 6X long hooks but never really use them. Shame on me, hope y’all are doing well👍
Tim could you maybe show a tub fly version oh this🤔

I tied up a couple of these last night and spent a short time fishing one this morning. A very enticing fly in the water. I’d bite it!

Well I am about to dive into the rabbit hole that is tube flies, I think that this will be the first one I do on a tube. I been thinking about it for a while, and that the woolly bugger would be a good first pattern to tie. Maybe doing an instructional video might be worth the effort.

Thanks Tim! I'm very happy that you showed the video of Bill and Colin. Yeah.
There's something about the ' Ginger ' colour that just works! Great to see you out there swinging flies like the rest of us. Ginger/Gold seemed to be a knockout this summer Southern Alberta and BC. Sigh. Do you have any restrictions in the NY NEast?
Autumn/Winter says Steelhead for a ton of folks... also very happy for a tube fly inspiration.
As always, Tim...thank you very much. I cannot think of getting set up for tying without consulting at least one of your videos. Tight Lines!

What size tube are you using for the tube version? I have the HMH small clear tubing and my standard coneheads don't fit it. They should fit the micro size tubing I assume.

Nice Fly. My friend whom won and 2 Nd placed besting me in the big trout derby using a green wooly bugger. I was bound and determined to beat him with a fly of my own fly of a different design. Finally revisited a pattern after fishing them all got the winning pattern. Now I want to sell them for $100 each and a dozen minimum. Yes there is a better fly. Just saying.
