how many diff styles of hip roofs is there? or how big does the building have 2 be in order to have a ridge?

Hi Mate, There are heaps of different types of hip roof and you can mix and match with other styles as well. Any size roof can have a ridge one side of the building just has to be longer than the other.

Hi Mate, Large scale buildings tend to go for the flat roof or a low pitch gable other wise the cost and the waste of space is to great.

Personally I would always go for a Hip or a Gable roof over a flat roof

Hi Johnathan, that is really up to what you like, most of the roofs shown will work on any building and you can also mix and match some elements togther. Personally i like a bit of a mix of the Hip and the Dutch Gable.
