really great vid, but the main issue I have is that there wasnt any climax, a raid, a raid defense or even a huge pvp fight would have made the story feel way more impactful

Because you don't have to split them, they smelt the same speed either way, if you split them they smelt slower -basically get the same amount of smelted metal if you'd have smelted it only in a single slot
