Nice and clear, thank you. I have the GOG version so I hope that it will work just as efficiently as it did when I had the disc version installed (many years ago LOL)
Great video! It worked perfectly for me. The best part is that this is the only video I found that lets you get the mod completely for free. The other few videos on RUclips that show these overhaul mods link you to sites that require you to pay to set up accounts.

RTX2060, 16 GB of ram and I got 24 fps outside of buildings
i have a laptop with an mx150 gpu that runs at 45fps with only 8gb ram, i think there's something wrong with your pc or version of the game. that's with everything almost maxed

I need help. If i click "Launch morrowind Launcher", than the Launcher and the Option Windows be open, where you van chance the window size. But it's freez. You know, how to repair this problem?

I gotta say, whilst Morrowind's graphics have (unfortunately) not aged well over the years, MGSO really breathes some new life into this beloved title. One of Bethesda's crown jewels, if you will.Still looks a bit clunky, but that's 2004 for ya lol Morrowind was the first game of the Elder Scrolls series I was introduced to, just two years after release. Unfortunately, I remember so little of the many hours I spent in this wonderful land. On a side note, MGSO states that it doesn't work with digital releases other than Steam's. and that's not entirely accurate; it happily installed onto the GOG release of Morrowind.
Hey dude, i got a problem, after i click 'Launch Morrowind Launcher' it kinda stops and does not change the resolution. do you maybe know why?
Same thing happened to me, try to go to morrowind folder and start Morrowind Launcher manually, then it should take over your mouse and finally change the resolution

stuck at the ''Morrowind launcher'' step. It did take the control of my mouse, but it did not select the settings after that, it just freeze on the settings window and i have to ctrl alt delete. Some help here ? thank you for your work tho :)
EDIT : Ok i find the solution, if you have the same issue, you have to switch the language set on steam to english :0

I think the problem is not here. cause I switch language, and nothing. Freeze on extraction files =(

When ever i click extract files on the installer it says please wait and than the installer just closes and disappears from my files.... I’ve pretty much given up at this point.

I downloaded it and played but my framerate was crap so I tried to use MGSO to change the settings a bit but now a messed up the whole game and dont know how to fix it without reinstalling the whole game.. :(

when i press the button i get an error with distant terrain not done or older files something like that and computer freezes

Okay... so what about the "launch morrowind launcher" segment of the instalation??? Where it launches morrowind and my whole computer freezes without warning?
is that patch dependent upon JRE ? If not is there any reason it couldnt be installed by extracting into morrowind directory manually registering the .bsa files as fallback archives and entering the variables into .ini file then launching a command line argument --content to load the .esm/.esp files? i'm playing on android so .exe files will not work but if that doesnt look like its doing anything special its just streamlines the process.
I honestly have no idea, I've never tried it. Something to think about though

Anyone got issues with it saying that tribunal and bloodmoon are missing on GOTY? And that it's not in a morrowind folder? at 2:15 in the video

please do not install MGSO. it is very graphically outdated and still riddled with bugs.
Update, it crashes sometimes and I just walked into the trade house in gnisis and got error code "model load error: is not a nif file in meshes\f\furn_de_table_03.nif." will use the default object marker_error.nif.
When I go downstairs into the rooms on the left or right there is a yellow triangle in the corner with a book floating in the middle I cant interact with.

using the gog version, everything worked until after finishing and running mge then when trying to play was greeted with "morrowind not found please reinstall morrowind" or something along those lines, reinstalled through gog then tried to play, "this application was unable to start correctly", then went through the moinstaller and did the whole process again, running mge again at the end, same application unable to start correctly message, anyone else experiencing this issue with the gog version?

Hey. So steam uninstalled my morrowind for some reason and when i go into the data files, i have to check boxes to activate the mods i already have but i dont know witch ones.
I have MGSO and tamriel rebuild on there.
I dont mean to be this shallow.
But are the faces detailed and the armor and stuff in this mod.

I can't get it to run, I've installed it like in the video but the game simply doesn't start when I click play. No error. I have windows 10 also. What do I do?
Hey, I heard you say that A fresh install is needed for it to work, but i already have a few mods installed, and i wan't to know how i can make it clean/fresh again.
Note that I am using a non-steam disc, so it doesn't work with steam.
Uninstall the game then go to install directory and delete mods there manually then install again,
Morrowind don't let me choose my dedicated laptop gpu gtx1050ti and only let my select the integrated intel graphic card, i have tried everything and there's no way, can this mod solved the problem? I mean the game runs at maximum settings 60 fps in the intel card but for God sake i haven't bought a "gaming laptop" to play with the integrated card. Thanks.
It should, because in the installation it finds your graphics driver for you and will automatically select it. Hope that works for you!
I wonder if you could help me, all is working fine except I love playing in third person view and somehow things seem to be blurry on third person. It like they are glowing in and out of existence but if I go on first person it all seems nice and sharp.
Does your camera in 3rd person look over the shoulder or directly behind the character?

I'm stuck at exe optimizer. Found the folder exactly where yours was but it popped up saying that morrowind.exe cannot be found
did you do a fresh install of morrowind before trying this? Also if its not finding the .exe uninstall morrowind, delete all the files in the directory. Do a clean install of morrowind and try again. Hope this helps!
can someone pls help me, at the step "Launch morrowind launcher" my mouse gets taken over and goes into options, but then just stands still and does nothing, i cant do it manually aswell
did try running the whole program as administrator?

it didnt wanna accept me doing it manually, so i told the programm that step was already done (even though it "wasnt") and skipped it, now its running perfectly

Sounds like a driver issue, if anything I would apply lower PC setting if you choose fast or higher

Flippy Flop The Whale When i try to get into the game, the menu would pop up but it would be all blurry and pixelated, and the game would freeze, but the music in the background play as if i was in the game.

I got up to the Launcher, then it told me that 'd3dx9_43.dll' was missing. I have Windows 10 with DX12 so I shouldn't be having this problem.
just download it and drop it into the morrowind main directory.
Would it still work if i didint update my drivers?

Run mlox isn’t working for me...
Try uninstalling the game and fresh install. I used to have the same problem, and that worked for me. Make sure to back up your other mods/save files

Even did a fresh install of morrowind? And made sure that you turned off the steam overlay is unchecked?
