I think Rattler showed enough for the Saints to cut Jake Haener. If Derek Carr is the starter and Rattler is the number 2, that means that Taysom can be the number 3 worst-case scenario. With that being said theres no point of wasting a roster spot on Jake Haener.

He did some good things every once in awhile you look like an actual quarterback but mostly was mediocre at best. I honestly expected more from him especially playing six games

He lacks the gut instinct on where to go when pressure comes. He lacks touch on his soft throws. His route progression is not good. These are the facts. Whether or not he can improve remains to be seen. The talent is there for sure.

Give him next year with a REAL team to prove himself and if he sucks so what we’re gonna be rebuilding anyway we just take a QB with our 1st round pick in next years draft 😂😂
