I am waiting for a documentary about one minecrafters descent to madness… I mean he started jeremyism, then went absolutely insane in last life after dying four times in an episode, he started a SECOND CULT in secret life, tried to convince everyone he was a god, and has now created a love triangle that’s more like a icosakaiheptagon between literally everyone on the server… not to mention his intros which imo speak for themselves. I just love it whenever other hermits see joels base in their episodes. They alway go "oh Joelxs base looks amazing" or something along those lines and just pause and stare at it for a minute before moving on with their videos lol.

Joel's understanding of color and texture is genuinely so impressive, his builds are GORGEOUS and jam packed and as an artist I aspire to have such skill with matching lots of vibrant different color schemes and lots of textures in such a harmonious way!!

Joel is getting more comfortable interacting with Hermits and it's so wholesome to see ! Also love the new building and the bigger banners !
Joel's building code for his neighborhood/district is very natrual, with many of the streets following contour lines. Most genius of all is that even though He has be going for more high rise structures, they don't stand much further above the entire Cherry-blossom Forest.
Joel's builds age perfectly in the right environment.

13:39 Joel, if you haven't considered it: stained glass panes above/below the wall blocks when they move over so their corners connect. You mentioned wanting to go for a wiring look and it keeps them slightly thinner. :-)

Your base is starting to look like a 'HIDE N SEEK' arena. Make all hermits play it in your base. Make them sound a horn like whistle sound. So that the seeker can have hints if they are close. 🎉🎉🎉

I'm going to admitt, originally I didnt care for the style of you're base, but now that everything is coming together, I love it! Its really impressive how you combined your usual style with something new. I know sometimes it's hard trying something new as content creator in the fear that your audience wont like it, but you pulled it off! You've grown a lot as an artist and youtuber, and I can't wait to see what you have planned next!
I love it, one of the new guys going full hog on his first season and almost shaming the long time hermits in sheer scale of his build.

An idea to light up your base a bit better is to place frog lights every 3 or so blocks in the walkway and put trapdoors over them I think it would light your area up great and give a bit more color to your walkways, you could even mix and match the frog lights :D
Having villagers on the balconies looks fantastic! You should add more, mainly on balconies but behind windows works too
