      @couchpotato there is a silent sound option when you select a song. Press plus, and silent should be there when selecting a sound.

    • @AbsoluteRandomnessYT
      @AbsoluteRandomnessYT 4 года назад +3

      @@DoubleD96203 yep, it's loud enough for you to do precise timings without the drum sounds from the screen as if you're relying on a metronome.
      Besides, the drum controller is factory-configured to have precise timings anyway.
      I did the same thing on my HORI mini controller to play Project Diva Future Tone, as I just disabled the button FX sounds and left the slide FX sounds intact.

    Impressive, no pretentious aftermarket drumsticks needed! I also only just realised that I can make the drum way quieter by sticking a cushion underneath.

    • @梓川咲太-d7p
      @梓川咲太-d7p 4 года назад +4

      Are the aftermarket sticks worth getting at all? I'm really considering getting this game with the drum, and I'm not sure if I'll need the aftermarket sticks or not. I'm afraid the wood will damage the rubber on the drum.

    • @NotAVtuberPinkyPromise
      @NotAVtuberPinkyPromise 4 года назад +17

      @@梓川咲太-d7p They won't damage the drum, but you won't need them, they'll act just the same as supplied the ones. They're only really needed when playing on an arcade drum where bringing your own sticks is common sense as the supplied ones are more worn out and generally unhygienic.

      @@梓川咲太-d7p nah... not with this drum. It is standard quality. However if someones realky into taiko no tatsujin and they're getting the big, high quality and expensive drum (kinda fanmade, much higher quality than this and I forgot what it's called) then it is strongly reccomended to get a bachi. Since the quality is so good you can just hit the drum once to score multiple hits. Like those triple hits you see. Makes it much more comfortable to play and less tiresome

    I think the pressure point on the side for the blue drum is hard to hit.
    I have had the taiko only since today but I find it difficult.
    maybe it's just a matter of practice but it annoys me.
    I will modify it.
    But it's incredibly fun to play with, and if I hit the hit points of the drum correctly, the songs would be even easier to play as with the keyboard.

      On the large notes you can hit with two hands for gain double points.

    • @BlindMelonLord
      @BlindMelonLord 2 года назад

      With the larger notes, as the person who made the video just said, you generally use both sticks at once in the center of the drum for big red notes and on the edges of the drum for big blue. But, if you want to go faster, you can only hit it with one stick. You will only get half the points, but it still counts it.
