I can only imagine the trials and tribulations that your marriage endured. You were so young when you got married and took on the demands of working for your famous relative. I have so much respect that you two are a great example of lasting love, through the thick and thin.

Hi Guys, don't ever Apologise for being Silly, you're not! I love your Sense of humour, so refreshing listening to your stories! You really are lovely down to Earth people, you don't put on "airs", just yourselves. "Genuine Article" so as to speak!
I can understand what you meant as you get Older(I'm 60 now) you see things differently, benefit of hindsight, living a bit longer, being thru a few things in Life. When you are "young" you haven't lived long enough to have the confidence to maybe speak up, defend yourself. You Worry you'll jeopardise things.
I really appreciate Jo's candidness saying Elvis was a Selfish person in the early days before Lisa's birth...he wouldnt have tried to understand her needs or thought about how hard it was for Jo bringing up the children while Billy was away etc & Billy needing to be around his Family more, making a decent" wage to look after the Family. What I've read & seen in docos the Guys weren't Paid very well, I know they probably got gifts, cars, holidays paid for but that doesn't pay the weekly food bills, clothing for kids, schooling & so on. I might be wrong, just observation!
I think a Book would be too painful for you drenching up stuff I could see Emotion in Jo. We just grateful you're happy to do this for us all.
Just keep doing what you're doing we truly appreciate & love seeing you in person talking. You can pick & choose what you want to answer or not...I respect that totally. You have to keep some things Private, people reveal "too much" these days!!
Hope Danielle is Healing Well after her op. I think Elvis would love all the New Technology, gadgets these days, he'd be amazed with it all!
And like you guys said the latest Motorcycles & Hummer style tank vehicles like "Arnie" drives😊
      Best Wishes to you all..🥰👍
      Stay Safe & Well

Mrs. Smith, it looked like you were wiping away some tears there at the end, so I can imagine how difficult it would be for you and Mr. Smith to sit down and work on a book. You two knew him like no one else knew him, and a book written by you folks would help to set the record straight on a number of things, and would give a better picture of how Elvis actually was. However, if you never write that book, then these videos are that much more valuable, and I’m very thankful for these videos. Maybe, years from now and with your blessings, Danielle can use these videos, along with any additional information you allow her to share, and write that book on your behalf. I certainly respect whatever choices you all make. Have a great week!

I would like to say thank you for sharing your memories of Elvis. What a gift to those of us who never laid eyes on him in person. My Mom was pregnant with me when he died, and I sometimes feel the shock of it and her grief left an imprint on me. The first time I ever heard his voice, I loved him. My wish for your family is to have an opportunity to connect with Riley and her sisters and to maybe one day share family meals at Graceland again. A place where you can share your lived experiences with him with his granddaughters.

I so appreciate your honesty Jo, and I hope Elvis fans don’t get it confused or assume that you don’t love him. Often times, Elvis fans put him up on a pedestal in a space where they will not tolerate any criticism of him or acknowledgment of his human character flaws. And it’s frustrating sometimes to read comments on other videos when someone speaks honestly in this way of hard times they may have had with him because of character. The person is automatically vilified and any negative thing immediately dismissed. And I think it does Elvis such a disservice.
So thank you for speaking honestly about him. I totally understand not wanting to right s book because of the emotional place it may put you and how difficult it would be to recall some of those testing times and not wanting to go back and live in that space. Anyway thanks. I enjoyed this video.

Thank you for your memories of him. Just last week, I was turning into my driveway and Blue Christmas came on the radio. I had already put the car in park, but I sat in my car and listened until the end. We always played his Christmas album every year and I still have it and it just brings me back It makes me nostalgic and long to go back in time too! I then thought of you, Jo and Billy. It must be a little bitter sweet for you too. Do you have a favourite song from this album? Hello to Danielle. You are doing a nice job 👍

I think it was so pathetic that Joe Esposito would put out books or VHS Tapes that said Elvis’s “best friend” remembers and this and that. Joe just made himself look incredibly desperate for attention. If Elvis had a best friend, especially at the end, it would have been his cousin Billy who was with him until the very end. Id go back to 1958 and steal Elvis from Priscilla or at least make it so he never met her. 😊

I enjoyed this video. I remember Billy's momma loved Elvis but didn't always like things he did concerning Billy. I know you all gave up a lot to be with Elvis. Having a husband involved in the music business is a lonely life for a young wife and mom. Been there. The business comes first. Family life second. Kudos to Jo for sticking it out. Billy is a darn lucky man. You know I'm right, cousin.

Hi Danielle, Jo & Billy - Great as always to see you all this Sunday morning - hope you're all doing well ! I loved the Q&A's as well As far as the scientology goes - didn't he once say that was the one religion he wanted no part of - as he felt they were just after his money ?? I thought i had read that in a book once! I could listen to you guys tell stories of your time with Elvis and you make it sound like an event took place, last night! Danielle - I know i commented on your solo vidoe from the other day, but i'd like to add, I thought it was extremely kind of you to go into something so personal ! I truly hope to one day meet the 3 of you, and Danny , Teresa, Joey - i may never leave LOL !! Hope you have a great week, be safe as always! God bless and love you all so very much !! - Charlie

Hi all, always loved elvis was born a month before lisa marie and we always had elvis records in our house the whole area where we lived in north of england mourned for days and played his records out of every window after he died, as to his selfish traits i think a lot of that will be because he was an only child i had a friend like that because they never have to consider their siblings or vie for their parents affection they end up with some selfish traits not knowingly and then like elvis once they mature and have seen how things have to be shared etc they change love your channel and thank you

Elvis may have been selfish but I don’t call it selfish so much as I see it as only child syndrome. I 😅can say that cause my son is an only child.
I don’t have to tell you, he loved you all so much. I don’t think Elvis ever tried to hurt anyone. He was trying to keep it together himself most of the time. Things jumped to hyperdrive in music and travel in his life so fast. He’s said it in some of his videos or interviews.

Yes, always different looking back to a situation encountered as opposed to having lived it [in the moment.] In the moment, all things aren't or can't be considered, detailed things, living it in the moment. But then comes the Monday morning quarterback-outlook and perception. We know [aging] tends to change the perception as well. Like Elvis did in the seventies. I really appreciate your family and your honesty. It’s good to hear the whole truth about a man we all deeply loved. There is no perfect person outside of Christ Jesus, but it’s good to know the human flaws to get a better understanding of the whole man.

Great video and I really appreciate your stories, answers, and honest insight. You three rock. Really. I hope you all know how much you are loved for being Elvis’ family, for being his very close confidants, and for your love for him. Thank you for another great video.

I just saw the special and my favorite performance was
    1. War and Treaty
    2. Alanis Morisette
    They were all good though
I just wish Riley would've had her and the others walking around Graceland and talking like when see sat in the kitchen and talked to the girl singer. Maybe should could've told some stories that she got from her family like Billy and Jo.
