I don't agree with disposable being the better option. It's non reusable, and costly over time. For the socks you can get more batteries or carry a powerbank and charge as needed on the move.
I understand your point, but think the convenience of the Little Hotties is undeniable. I don't like tossing things in the garbage rather than re-using but I think 95% of people would not trade to the heated socks. Like this guy, my heated socks are just "warm" and never get hot so it gets down to convenience and cost. I use the Little Hotties for 75% of my outdoor stuff and my heated socks for 25%
