    I watched it in 1977 and when he passed 8 weeks later I could not watch it for decades as it would make me so sad. Now I watch it and still wonder how well he could sing even when he was that sick. His voice never left him nor us. Thank you for "keeping him alive" for future generations.

    I can remember the world changed a little when Elvis passed away. I was only about 8 years old. But he was so cherished, and even by my own family, and they played his songs on the radio (no MTV back then), and it seemed like the whole nation felt somber, and you knew some "innocence" in your life was forever gone. Elvis's people didn't want to air this show because of Elvis' obvious bad health but they did anyway. He had a few shows in his career when people walked out on him, but nobody can be superman, and after thousands of live performances you are bound to have a few bad nights, whether it is throat problems or just the common cold. He was only human after all. But here you can see the effects of drugs on his body and speech pattern. It is somewhat sad to watch.

    That man passed from a heartbreak. It was an accidental death. He did not want to die....He was sick. It was an accidental overdose. He was on tour...He was happy about it...He looked forward to his future...

    • @janetmyles8764
      @janetmyles8764 2 года назад

      He did not die from an accidental over dose. He did have several drugs in his system but not enough of any of them to kill him. He more than likely died from his long time problem of constipation. His colon was twice the size it should have been in areas. He had an excessive amount of BM in his colon. When someone strains so hard to have a BM it can cause a lethal cardiac arrhythmia. He died from cardiac arrest. He had been told to have a colostomy but because of pride he wouldn't agree to it. Also doctors were afraid to operate if he happened to die on their table. He had many health problems
      He had issues with 9 out of his 11 body systems. Hence the use of some of the drugs he took. He was in a lot of pain. He had a sad painful death! Read the book Destined to Die Young by Sally Hoedel. It explains many things about Elvis. She did extensive research into Elvis family history and his health problems.

    This performance was a sung prayer! It may have been answered, folks. Our boy may have reemerged as 'Pastor Bob Joyce.' Elvis had a unique and singular vibrato that when compared with Bob Joyce' on a computer vocal analyzer...matches Elvis Presley! Do your own search everybody. Is this the return of the King?

    • @sandralybrand9425
      @sandralybrand9425 2 года назад

      That's a lie! It doesn't match up! Watch wings of Pegus, he's a professional and shows you on the actual charts that the voices are different and zNot the same person. Shame on you!

    • @philippesauvie639
      @philippesauvie639 2 года назад

      @@sandralybrand9425 hold your horses! No lie. I watched. Fil compared a verifiable Elvis recording and Pastor Bob’s. He did not come out and say that it was Elvis. What he did say is that Elvis has a unique vibrato and that if Pastor Bob wanted to match Elvis Presley exactly… all he’d have to do is speed up his vibrato. That’s pretty damn close to being an exact match! btw I left pretty much the same comment in wings of Pegasus‘s comments as I did above, here and more and Fil personally approved it. And who of us gets faster as we get older? 😉 The verdict is still out but the evidence is piling up that Elvis Presley, is alive.
