I picked up 1 of these about 6 months ago for around £25 and I think it's great for the money. All of the effects are perfectly useable, I've had some good ambient fun with an Electro Harmonix B9 organ pedal into the step phaser and Mooer Ocean Machine delay unit. I had owned a Bluesbreaker BB-2 for about 15 years and it works just as good as it did when I got it so I decided to try out some more Marshall pedals and also picked up a bargain Vibratrem for £20 and a brand new ED-1 Edward The Compressor for about £25. A lot of people turn their noses up at Marshall pedals but I think they're very good, they're solidly built and are reliable, most of them have multiple effects on 1 pedals, they're very affordable and they look great all in a line. I know the knobs can be difficult to see if you're gigging etc, but it's not a huge problem to fix, you can remedy that by putting a dot of Tippex corrector fluid or a little sticker on the top of the knob....or buy some new knobs to replace them with, they're not very expensive to buy, I just use little stickers on the top of the knobs myself.
I agree with all that except for the BB-2. I *love* the Echohead delay. And the Vibratrem is actually starting to show up on s few semi-pro boards. I reckon jackhammer/guvn'or 2 are also a ripping good pedal.
Very versatile small pedal, ahead of it’s time. Only thing annoying about them is the shiny knobs, impossible to see your settings. I put yellow stickers on mine. If you add the expression pedal it’s killer for adjusting the rate
Another wicked demo, I have their delay and it has so many cool sounds. What's also cool is output 2 on mono leaves trails after disengaging. The knobs suck though :)
Ryan, we spoke through facebook a while ago. It was a great conversation, I wanted to ask you : Is your album almost ready? if so, do we have a release date? I found myself listening to your pedal demos, they are so relaxing!
I've had some health hiccups recently so I got a bit stalled with production.. but I was recording today :) I think within the next month or so I'll have a track or two up.. but the full album will be a bit longer.. He tenido ambos pedales, el nux tiene simulaciones más realistas, me arrepiento de haberlo vendido, el phase y el vibe son excelentes a diferencia del regenerador en los que son muy similares. Si bien el nux carece del step phaser, aunque es un efecto al cual no le encuentro mucha utilidad. Saludos desde Asunción.

I got .... 3 Chorus pedals ... and the best is .... Line 6 Space Chorus on TRI setting and a COLOR knob that delivers 3 flavors of it. The other CHORUS setting is OK (Vintage). Then I would say Marshall RG-1 is .... somewhere between .... useless .... and a WANNA BE a fx pedal, mild outputs, they are not at full ... it's like battery is almost dead ... and fx lack of impact .... the last one of my sonic arsenal is a Mini Danelectro Milk Shake. This it has more DEEP/MIX than the MARSHALL RG-1. I put it last because is the cheapest of all, but it's much better than Marshall RG-1. If guitar tone SUCKS, then the fx tone sucks. That is a fact. I use my Danelectro with Fender Strats and people love it. They don't noticed how cheap it is. They are the best judges for your tone.
When i consider pedals i bear in mind three factors: 1 : does it sound good ? If not, game over . 2 : is it reliable ? I've had a couple of pedals fail and had ruined rehearsals as a result . Those brands don't get another look in . 3 : how much does it cost ? Doesn't matter how good it sounds or how well made it is if i can't afford it . No space in my life for expensive pedals . Call me wierd but i couldnt give a shit what a pedal looks like .

Bb2 is killer for acdc tones. Push a Marshall, Monochannel, and you're in.

Love the step phaser effect (I'm on synths) but it's a pity that stereo width is barely perceptible on most effects.
