I have a 36x74 2050kv Surpass motor. Flycolor 150a esc and 3/16 driveline. I was hoping I could make it work. As I have all the parts.
A few vintage Octura props too. I can measure them and get numbers tomorrow.
Money is tight I have kidney cancer and it could be my last summer with the boys.

Great gear you have there! I’ve watched
    several of your boats
    hauling ass. You really
    know how to build the
brushless rigs. Is there a target prop rpm for a 40” Deep V glow to brushless conversion? Not interested in speed runs. Just good fun with the grandsons!
Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Hi Toddzilla do you have a motor all ready if not I would recommend a 4074 2000 kv. What shaft diameter are you running 3/16 or 1/4 inch prop choices change depending on shaft dia my recommendation would be a octura 3 blade in the 45 to 50 mm range a m or y series. For a esc a offshoreelectrics.raider 150 will be a good inexpensive one. It will give you the option to run from 3s to 6s motor brand. Surpass rocket or a leopard motors are a good choice on a budget
