Thanks for the comment, our FJ was primarily a beach vehicle as well. We used to take it on Carolina Beach/Freeman Park in Wilmington, NC. Unfortunately that beach started eroding and you can’t drive as far on it anymore. We’ve also taken it to Corolla beach that goes all the way to the VA/NC border. It’s fun driving on the sand haha.
@@kamalakeel your solution worked great, it took me about 3 times to understand you put the seat belt in while holding the tripometer button then the bin off appears . Do you have a solution for turning off the daytime running lights? I saw a you tube video on this to disconnect the wires behind the left side panel under the headlight but cannot get the panel off. What is your solution? Best regards
I just found the information in a forum for FJs. I’m sure the repair manual weather it’s digital or a book from Toyota has the information somewhere. It may be in the owners manual because I didn’t actually check haha.
I’ve tried this countless times now with no success… I have a 2014 FJ so maybe it requires a different procedure but I haven’t found anything different online. Any help would be much appreciated!
To be clear, is it: Key in, turn all the way on (ignition on) Immediately press and hold odometer button Hold for 10 secs and then click in seatbelt while still holding odometer ? This sequence is not working for me in a 2012 FJ cruiser Trying to figure out why?
Going to try on our Rav 4. We are about to get rid of this POS if this doesn’t work. Thing beeps even with our seat belts on. Nothing but issue after issue with the Rav
