I love watching a “before you buy” after i buy
Me too cuz i already baught it
Waste of time
@@sanasuoh9709
Probably, but... watching a video like this really sets the mood and enables me to play the game again. Thus - I get my money’s worth.
why do we do these things?
Lol yeah 😂
Inside is one of the best games I have ever played. It doesn't need to be too challenging because it's a work of art. It's just the right amount of challenging so you can keep progressing and enjoy the story. The game is only $20 and it is very worth it. That's the price of going to the movies and getting a popcorn and a drink. Very VERY worth it. Stop reading this review or any others because there's no cons to this game. Go buy it!
well said
Lol just got this game for 10 cents on switch, it’s on sale for 2.50 and I had 2.40 worth of gold coin things. Pretty stoked on that deal
@@mattsmith7962 not bad
I’m getting it on the gamepass 6 years later
@@Bittamin that’s what I like to hear
I’m in the middle of playing this and all the “it’s so easy” “it’s not very challenging” “you won’t get stuck or frustrated” took a hit to my self esteem because I got frustrated, stuck and had to take a break a number of times. So if that was you too you aren’t alone!
Spatial reasoning, verbal reasoning, social reasoning , numerical…There are so many different types of puzzles and nobody is good at all of them! I never trust reviewers saying how easy or entertaining the puzzles are, and check I can use guides beforehand.
For real, like I found a lot of puzzles challenging imo, and I did actually get stuck on honestly quite a few puzzles.(it’s still one of my favorite games)
Dont need a "Before You Buy", just buy it, its amazing
Yup!
+gameranx will it be released on PS4
Comet Dudeman+ No, Xbox One and PC only
no
its too expensive...I can get rise of the tomb raider with 30 $...why would I spend 20 $ for an indie instead of an AAA game?
Too late already bought it, 11/10 must buy.
Better than limbo?
+Crimes no
+Crimes I would say so yeah
If you finished it that ending do
+Rebel Gamer Did u get the alternate ending
Inside - Before You Buy:
Just buy it...
Doesn't make sense. There is no "before you buy Inside", there's only "after you buy Inside".
+swamdono you must be fun at parties 😐
+locs13000 You dont get it...
Material Monkey
I'm glad you do, at least. So I don't look like a complete idiot :P
***** Waht do you want to tell me?
God this game was great. The $20 price-tag never scared me away, since it's basically like supporting the developer who has now made 2 great games (LIMBO and INSIDE).
A ton of you have asked about this one. So here it is!
Thx
K thanks
i love gameranx and i think this channel is where i get all my gaming information. im also subscribed to "becausevideogames" only for jake xD
Hey guys at gameranx I love your vids!!!
I've watched 2 playthroughs already and I just want to watch this to see what you have to say about it.
Thanks for the review. I'll grab it. It's 90% right now, so seems like a bargain.
I bought it yesterday as well for 90% off in the nintendo e-shop..if you like this type of game you need to play little nightmares 1 and 2 very similar style game..both are absolutely phenomenal.
@@joeshhhhmoe7629 thanks! I’ll check them out
@@joeshhhhmoe7629 scooped little nightmares 1 and 2 for 20 bucks total on the eshop and picked up this for 2 dollars as well and Limbo for a total of 4 bucks. Great deals
Just f*cking buy it. It is literally as close to a perfect game as I have ever played. 100/10
I just finished it for the first time yesterday, and it was an absolute delight to play through. The world INSIDE is set in has so much intrigue, cool worldbuilding and memorable areas. Because of its small details and achievements, it's as good as infinitely replayable. It also has secrets!!
The character-animations are the elements I like the most; every sprite feels like there's a weight to them, and that they have different personalities (funny, considering none of them have faces).
It's just charming and a blast through and through, and I think it's one of my favorite games of all time.
Buying inside is totally worth it this is one of the best games I've played
It maybe short but you will probably play it more than once to piece together this plot and maybe even make your own theories on it that means you matpat
Hi same pfp
Also because there are multiple endings
@@whyarewestillhere8562 multiple ending?
@@whyarewestillhere8562 you mean 2 endings?
@@mj-zv6ok Well turns out that an easter egg has been confirmed hidden to this day, so we can't say for sure how many endings there are. Maybe if we could organize a reddit and recruit people for an egg hunt?
all I can say is wtf is with that ending like holy shit
Just look up some interpretations on youtube, it'll blow your mind.
+InneWinneCinema Ikr
I have my own theories on the ending but I beg everyone don't spoil it for anyone else!
yeah if its spoiled for you than you wont get the thrill of surprise.
Yeah...it's. ...um OK hmmmm
I did a playthrough of the trial for Unravel and I felt that it had similar mechanics to Inside, along with the character design.
The animations are amazing. Reminds me of the first time I played Shadow of Colossus, and just the acts of running, rolling and climbing were made so much more enjoyable by the intricate animation work.
God I loved this game... It reminded me of how it felt to be a scared little kid in a world that seemed dangerous. Limbo was very dreamlike and surreal, but Inside is way more grounded and it constantly, CONSTANTLY surprises you. It never lets up. It makes you feel things where you might shiver or tear up or grin uncontrollably. If you love animation this has some of the best, very reminiscent of Pixar or The Iron Giant. Play this game with just you and a good pair of headphones.
"Its also not very long. You're probably gonna hear this a lot" Well, I never!
Clue: the front cover of INSIDE is a really subtle reference to the ending.
isn't it funny when you play a game and the trailer makes a LOT of sense? :D
Went in blind on this one simply from word of mouth...ended up being glued to the tv for 8 hours until i got 1000/1000 gamerscore on it.....while it was easy, the secret ending was a mindbender, especially the last 2 twists in the game, i am not sure who actually figured the end puzzle on the spot but in case someone did then i am mindblown....anw, 11/10 , no need to think, just buy and if $20 is too much money for u, then maybe u should move to mobile gaming.
i 110% agree with you.
yeah, people would probably also be ok with a game that is $60 and 12 hours
Still my favourite game. I felt so powerful in the end and it genuinely excited me and would love to play it for the first time again.
I like the story and it had the most wtf ending ever
Inside is one of those games where you can't really talk about it with out stating some kind of spoiler for it. Wonderful game though I quite loved it! Ending defiantly has me lost for word!
Super late to the party, but I bought the digital version for Switch a few days ago when it went on sale for $1.99. All it took was a few screenshots to make me want to give it a shot. Immediately hooked, and finished it within 48 hours. *11/10*
The "Click here to subscribe " at the end got me after watching dark screens for 5 minutes
For me, this seems like one of those games that I'd rather watch someone play, rather than play myself.
As someone who saw the first 15 minutes played by a youtuber, I finally bought the game a couple days ago and am on my alternate ending playthrough, trust me: it's more powerful when you're in control
@@kellennicholson4488 The ending isn't that satisfying though, but I guess they were trying to let the players interpret it in their own way. Gameplaywise, it's a masterpiece.
Inside was awesome:D There's definitely some deep stuff going on
For some reason I never got Inside or Limbo until 3 days ago, I completed limbo in about 90 minutes and I'm a bit more than half way through Inside now. I absolutely love these games and I think I'll be playing it over and over throughout my life.
I am soooo late. I use to play video games like mad. I stopped 11yrs ago. I’m stuck in Italy n can’t get back to NYC. I downloaded Limbo and Inside by recommendation from my youngest gamer brother that moved to japan. These two games are the best I’ve ever experienced. Incredible graphics, storyline, game play. I have been looking on line for anything like this. I’m wondering why now all games before this seem cheap lol. These two are more than AMAZING! Next level. Looking forward to more from Playdead.
that thumbnail will haunt my everything.
A game for every age, really amazing!
4 years later but yes it's true. My 7 year old brother loved the game.
One of the best games I've played. The secrets do add to the value, so the play time is probably just about right. Every scene/checkpoint is memorable, and the ending is........... worth waiting for.
Playing this now in Dec 2022. It is there somewhere in the depths of PS Plus or PS Store. Search it, buy it if you have to, just play it. 10/10
It's just so damn fun! And the ending is bound to leave you thinking "What the fuck!? Can someone explain what just happened?" Because it honestly leaves you with an insane amount of questions and doesn't answer a single one. Which isn't a bad thing; it makes you think and it sticks with you. As far as 2.5D games go, this is one of the best!
Please, do Before you Buy about Dead by Daylight!
My girlfriend introduced me to Limbo two weeks ago. I played through it in a couple nights and really enjoyed it overall. So, I noticed the studio Playdead had just released Inside and figured it would be in the same vein. Holy titty fucking Christ was I blown away by Inside. I was not expecting it to be as good as it is. Every step you take in this game feels immaculately engineered, designed, and sculpted for the perfect experience. No loading, completely seamless and incredible. 11/10 my GOTY even though it came out last year.
After the end I clouldn't think for hours
This game looks awesome.
it is
EyeSepticJack
cool
Colin G
yes
EyeSepticJack

because a little boy can push a fridge around
It's a game
well actually if you get a good running start then yea a kid can push a fridge and you have to count does it have all of it's parts because the fridge is broken but still it's just a game.
Right. That's what should be pointed out. The fact that the kid could push the fridge around. If you think THAT's the thing that is totally not believable about this game and would justify not buying because of such an asinine reason as that - then you would be OUTRAGEOUSLY pissed if you actually played the game.
Maybe wait till fridge pushing simulator comes out.
these comments are pretty great lol
Thank you guys so much for this series!
It helps me and the other viewers so much!
My grandma just died, I'm the man of the house
Alright, Big Sean
so everymorning Im up cause I cant let em down
Always down for the cause never down for the count
+Chris I guess when the stars align, you do like the solar system and plan it out
So I'm goin' overtime on the overtime
the game is amazing and the plot twist is extremely enjoyable. I loved it.
This is my favourite single player game ever
Sad that it only lasted 4 hours. First time in forever that I really had to think while playing a game. This should be a school requirement. Imagine waking up knowing this was waiting for you at school. In 13 years I never had a single reason to get excited about going to school. That should change.
If you are interested in this game. Right now there is a deal on steam for only around 2€/2$. I just picked it. Sale ends in 9 hours
I looked this game up because it’s only 2 dollars in the eShop but judging by these comments it’s 100% worth it
Absolutely loved the game. Worth the wait.
"They took a long time to finish inside"
Sex quote - Jake Baldino 2016
Haha I'm here because of the video " 15 Best Single Player Games You Can FINISH IN 5 Hrs" . And I see this game is on sale right now. Don't mind if I do 😊 thanks guys
Coming back 4 years later cuz now its free😏
lol I got this for free on Xbox live
S0Cl3TY same bro lmao
S0Cl3TY dope game huh I’ve been meaning to buy it
Same, played through it and now I’ve bought the physical version which includes Limbo which I’m hoping is as good. One of my all time favourite games now ❤️👍🏻
I'm very confused with the ending though
+Ass Ass Yeah, but everything does not need to be dark souls or the legend of zelda timeline....
aspects of it are never explained but a lot can be interpreted
This comment contain SPOILERS. In the end when the boy escapes from the experiment he doesn't really escape. As seen when he is a blob at one stage he is tumbling through the lab and he lands in an enclosure. The enclosure has a hillside a lake and a ray of sun but is still an enclosure all the same. When the boy exits the laboratory and rolls down the hill into the outside world it seems as though it is a happy ending. Although another looks tells you that the place he lands is identical to the enclosure he rolled into earlier. This means he is still and forever will be stuck "INSIDE"
This means he is still trapped in an enclosure
+Jason McGarry I thought he escaped but he's a blob now so what's the point now?
Though the asking price is a little much, £15.99 here in the UK I think, this game was amazing!
Bought Limbo when it first came out and fell in love with Playdeads visual style and storytelling, so to see they were releasing a new game was an almost immediate day one buy for me.
I remember seeing this game previewed on the xbone homepage last year and wanting to play it straight away, even though it came almost a year later...
Aside from the asking price, I couldn't fault this game, though yes it's short and the story is simply told through your actions and your own imagination, this is what made Limbo stand out and why if you loved Limbo (I mean who wouldn't?!) then I would say this game is for you
"Quality over quantity"...this game is full of quality!
3:28 Maybe in exteriors, but interiors reminds me to Portal 2, when you are in the old Aperture science.
hey guys scarce just uploaded a twitter feed saying that Gameranx friday giveaways are rigged and only gives games to people who donate to his account 😠
Fuck keemstar
troll?
news channels only talk shit mate sorry
go spread RUclips drama shit somewhere else.
Did he say it, or suggest It?
in my opinion, the ending is kinda shit.
it is, but if they add a story behind it.
maybe theres a meaning to it?
theres no story at all! we have to make it up! im guessing that boy is limbo, i think.. im just guessing.
The game's name is Inside , the boy went "Inside" the huge pile of zombie ppl
TotallyFuckingMakeSense/10
there's a secret ending that explains the whole game.
Ass Ass not really, it never says that it unplugs you (the player) from the boy. I personally think the boy unplugged himself from some kind of system that was controlling him like those dummies that I controlled before to accomplish its task, which is to free the blob. I don't really think some kind of 4th wall break is going on here
LightningBlaze100 tThe blob doesn't escape. It was all a plan, a cold experiment. You could see a diorama of the ending scene shortly before the ending, with a torch light shining on the exact same spot the blob landed at.
I saw the thumbnail and thought this was "schoolboy q blank face before you buy"
That thumbnail is going to cause nightmares...
the game is fucking 2 hrs long
if you instantly figure out ever puzzle
worth it, amirite?
+Key4427 totally
god of war acsention is 2 hours long too
+I wanna A PS4 you serious
I'd get it if it was between $2.50 - $5.00.
Lmao
i think FREE is a reasonable price
+Gerald Ramos its an indie game obviously it doesnt deserve the price tag of even 1 cent
To be honest most of my favorite games that have come out recently have been indie games. Just it is way too expensive for how short of an experience it is. Not saying it's a bad game just it needs more content to be worth that much.
Your logic makes perfect sense...
This game is nearly $60 (6200 Rupees) in my country so I should still buy it.
i JUST finished playing this game on xbox1. WOW WOW WOW WOW! what an amazing game! and the last 15 minutes of the game are a freakin head trip! but in a good way lol. buy this game plain and simple.
when you dont like thinking about stuff, just want to shoot things and you cant admire art...then this game isnt for you. Everyone else: Go. Buy. It. Now.
The part where the board breaks and he has the frantic slide looks cool.I like when a games can break or fall apart forcing you to react and save your self like I saw happen a few times in the game play footage. Especially when it happen at natural moments and not only in story set pieces.
It would be great if there was more of this world to explore
Honestly, I finished the game the first time in about 2 hours, but I have almost 8 put into it now because I just can't stop going back to it. The best word I can find to describe Inside is "unsettling." Even though I've played through it a few times, and even found all of the secrets, I still get that unsettled and nervous feeling each time. I believe it's very much worth it's price, though others may not. In fact, I need to go play it some more now >.> Watching videos of it always makes me want to play it, lol.
Found this and limbo for 2.00 on the eshop on the nintendo switch
Plot: human resources just need a nice vacation at seaside. Pink Floyd sountrack would be perfect for this game.
It’s free for me I just use my 190 gold point on my switch and it’s on sale for 19kr in Sweden
That little boy can go through SEAL and USMC no problem. @1:25 is one of many examples. I do pull-ups myself, that stunt is difficult with those arms.
Finally 2020 and we are coming closer to the release of the next game. Limbo was great but Inside is absolutely insane till this date. My playtime sofar 33 hours, I couldn't recommend this enough. I just love it. Anyone that didn't have the experience yet... Go for it !
just downloaded from Xbox gamepass today, looking forward to playing.
Ok wait! I have just found this game and downloaded the free trial. It’s interesting for sure. I’m not yet looking for solutions as I like figuring the stuff out as far as I can. Yet, you just accidentally showed me the goal to my first frustrating puzzle at the fridge. Not sure how you did that but I now know it can be done. I thought I tried everything but I’m back at it now. Not sure I’m happy about the unwanted help yet.
Thank you internet for not spoiling this game. Just played for first time. Loved it. Beautifully bleak masterpiece.
I really want to play Inside, but i'm kinda unsure about the £15 price given how long limbo was, and the similarities between the games. I'll probably wait to get it when its cheaper. Maybe even get it when they have an iPad release as thats what I played limbo on.
To all you pirates out there: this game uses Denuvo, don't bother looking for it just buy the damn game it's worth supporting those creators
Omg I finished this game 2021 now this is not a game ! This is art !
20 dollars may sound like a lot but it truly is worth it. this game made me feel this odd combination of absolute terror and suspense I think I've ever felt. I'm serious, I was absolutely terrified at what I might find, and the sound, oh man the sound. if you're an audiophile this game is absolutely perfect for you. it's a genuine experience that I think everyone should have. so please please give it a chance.
Bought it on release. Basically, if you liked Limbo, this game is better. For the skeptics, around 10 dollars is a fair price for 3-4 hours. A masterpiece in my book.
Finished in 2 days..... 20$ for 2 days of playing........ it’s super fun don’t get me wrong it just needs
to be extended
I am a very casual gamer and i suck at video games, i bough Limbo but i got tired of the time events, i still liked the game and i decided to buy Inside, which is a lot better.
There are parts in the game that are hard, but if i was able to get pass them anyone can, i finish the game and its amazing paid 5$ on steam for it too. At that price its a steal.
Just got this on Switch for £1.79! Can't wait to try it out now :D
Ok well can someone explain to me when on ps4 i buy full game and when i come to the point "continue?" i click continue adventure but it brings me to ps4 store page even though i already bought it... did I just waste my money for no reason?
It's on sale on steam for 6 bucks now.
I'm torn between getting this or starbound
I got this game for two dollars on sale recently and I have to say, I really really like it. The strongest part though is the opening scene. I felt more tension in that scene than the rest of the game, and was sort of disappointed when it never really got to that level again
I bought this like 2 days ago - only watched this video to see if you loved it as much as I do and I am so glad that you do :) This game is amazing!
I tried it on my iPad the first 4-5 puzzles are free then you have to buy it but I'm dirt poor
On sale for two bucks on the switch right now
About the two endings that are possible: well, i´m not quite satisfied with them, but that is also a factor what made them so good. You still have many questions after you played it but it´s totally worth it.....and if you are playing on PS4, (like I normally do): Don´t worry, it will probably come out in one year, just like Limbo did
I love it but it finished so fast that I wish it was a rental or something
The Danish are actually pretty good at making games
Fx, Inside, Hitman and maybe the new Duke Nukem Forever?
2:23 oh my god!
Gameranx should have a Steam curator page.
I dLed the Demo for this on my ps4, and it was so magnificent i went and bought the game in my pajama pants. One of the most tense, creepy, dark and gritty horror games Ive ever played. 10/10
(potential spoilers if you haven't played/seen the game/playthrough)
Love the game. No doubts about it. The only thing I kinda disliked is that it doesn't explain the world, fully? As in, like, are all those people just dead people being controlled? And if so, what happened to lead to that? And is the thing at the end a scientific experiment? And I understood that the thing at the end was, apparently, controlling the boy all along, which would explain why the boy would go ALL that dangerous way, seemingly knowing where to go exactly as well, and stuff, but I wish the game explained more of the world, ya know? What happened? And what was the full point of all of it? I get that it was to break the thing free, but what after? Do they recapture it? Where does it go? At the end sequence, you only see it just laying there in the sunlight, and that's it. I doubt it died, but I still wanna know more. xD
I just don't like when a game doesn't cover everything up, ya know. But, nonetheless, it was an amazing game. :)
Play at night, all lights off and feel that game
I now this is an old video, but this game is included in ms game pass. Give it a try, it is such a great game!
A great game I would pay 40 for it it's that good, great sound, graphics and atmosphere and story!
I never played Limbo, but I really did like this game!
This was my first instabuy game on a phone EVER, and I have enjoyed every single second of it.
my favorite part is the entire explosion segment; when inside and outside. (small spoiler) But, I'm stuck on the human blob part when you have the incinerator and the box.
_____ _______ you gotta pick up the box, set it on fire throw it over each of the water pipes and catch it. Then you need to to chuck into the engine type thing
I loved limbo so much that I got all of the trophies for it. The sounds effects, creepy atmosphere and the entire mystery of Limbo. Inside looks amazing but will it come out for Ps4?
