This case reminds me of another one that Unsolved Mysteries covered back in the late 80s/early 90s (RIP Robert Stack). A husband and wife were in humongous debt, husband dies in a mysterious house fire, wife tries to collect insurance money. Forensics leans to husband dying in said fire. Wife starts seeing mysterious man, neighbors think it's her husband, years later another fire erupts, 2 bodies found and turns out that it's the wife and the husband who supposedly died in the original fire.
How did 3 people die ??? So first fire , husband dies , years later wife and husband die? So who died in the first fire then? 🔥 the wife and husband actually both died In the first fire? Then who died in the second fire 🔥 im confused
@@timothy2935 They misidentified the body thinking it was the husband that died the first time. He found a similar looking person, probably a homeless person who has no identification and wouldn't be missed (no one was looking for them), and placed him in the home and set it on fire. Only after some time the husband returned probably hoping his wife got the money and they'd live comfortably together. Edit: if I find the episode I am talking about I'll link it or reference the season and episode number separately.

Also took me a minute to realize it was Saturday 😅
I can't imagine what that must feel like. Having your child taken from you for some half-baked scam. Unbelievable. 😰😨
Half-baked!😆
Denise is guilty as hell
I always giggle watching your videos, your personality in pizzazz is just the best! And I always love it when the happy clip cuts in with the insurance money lol
My eyes couldn’t believe it when i got the notification but of course i was so happy to see Mike on a Saturday
Beside the Medical Examiner saying, "Hey, this looks like the body of a 20-year-old," I imagine the detectives started suspecting foul play when they saw no power to the electrical breaker box and the body being "entirely" doused in accelerant.
Forensic Files did an episode on this it’s called A Squire’s Riches. They were suspicious from the beginning that the death wasn’t accidental.
@@peppermintpetty6766 Oh yeah! I was trying to remember where I had seen this story before! I'm a big Forensic Files fan.
Mike on Saturday is such a treat!
Omigosh ! Makes me feel like a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons.
(well, sort of, without the murder part anyways, but you know what I mean.)
My son and I broke down 5 hours from home and I listened to your podcasts for 8 hours waiting to get home. It was my saving grace in a scary time and place. I love your work. Thank you a million times!
Thank God you two got home safe.
Love this old school Mike.. one story in a sensible concentration span ❤❤❤
The only channel I actively check for uploads ! I’ve literally ran out of them to watch 😂❤
Saw Mike, I clicked!
Hope you enjoy the video!
Right I left what I was doing so fast 😂
MOYK 🧉🦄
I kinda do the same 😊
Me too!
This is such a sad story. Justin sounds like such a wonderful young man. And Ari's accomplice gets to walk free, absolutely disgusting.
I wasn't able to watch YT for the past 2 weeks and I feel so lucky now I get to binge Mike here and podcast with Keith! Whew.
Sad 😢. Rip Justin. So glad she didn't get any life insurance! She's guilty AF. Thank you for this video Mike ❤️🩹 love ya!
Except she did. She got $2.6 million!🙄🤦♀️🤬
What a sad story- and I’m sure Denise knew all about the plan! Awful
Wait- a bonus THAT CHAPTER episode on a Saturday!?!?
*Lets give it a GOOOOOOO!*
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The timing of this video made me think I was supposed to be at work lol
Hahaha hope you didn't panic for a second
My buddy and I were fishing and both said “it’s Saturday right?”. Nice to listen to on a boat though!
I just woke up from a nap and did the same thing like wait what day is it I thought it was saterday!! I felt like such a dumbass for a second till I seen your comment and cracked up like thank God I wasn't the only one!!! Have a great saterday guys!!
@@mtfdfire22 hey good luck fishing bud!! It's a beautiful day for it that's fs!!!
glad I wasn't the only one thinking I screwed up massively. :D
Justin was so young. He had his entire life ahead of him x
In defense of their marriage, my husband and I sleep in separate rooms and we don’t have wedding photos up. The one photo I have is also of my husband on my dresser. I have a painful chronic illness and insomnia and my husband snores like a bear. E have a fantastic relationship,we just can’t sleep in the same bed. She must have been crazy about her husband to have not divorced him and stuck through all the financial problems and supported him. He’s still costing her a fortune in the afterlife!
Awful. That poor kid! I have grandsons around that age. Heartbreaking. That woman should be in jail. Idk how she can live with herself AND in that same house! So sorry for that young man's family.💔😓🕊️ Thank you Mike. Never heard this before. Tbh I was sure she killed her hubby but this is FAR worse.🤬🙏🏼🍀
Such a shame, so many lives affected by this crime. Ari's wife is as guilty as Ari, but proving it beyond a shadow of doubt is the hard thing to do. The more I see these selfish people the more I love my dogs.
Seriously? Seeing the selfish people doesn’t make you appreciate all of the selfless people out there?
Exactly.. makes me appreciate my pets so much more. Hate humans lol
I'm pretty sure that if my cats outlive me and I'm not found in a timely manner, they will eat my face. Still trust them more than 99.999% of the humans I know.
@@julitakamaki4386 The problem is that we are shown more selfish people than selfless people.
@@katybug6572 We have 7 dogs, and they behave just like devoted children. We go from a 160lb Pyrenean mountain dog to a 3lb toy Yorkshire terrier.
Every time you said Missouri I winced because I have lived here most of my life. It is also known as misery.
Whaaaaaa
Mike I have to say I’ve been actually watching your videos for about 14 months. I am from Donegal originally and I love how you present your facts to a couple of Boston mysteries
The selfishness is next level with these two. Justin was just a kid! How sick.
Love your content Mike. 🎉
My heart breaks💔for Justin’s mom. She had a beautiful son who loved her so much. He would never let her down. It’s infuriating to know that neither of them had to face the music for their heinous crimes. RIP Justin.
Even more infuriating when you find out that Denise got half of Ari's life insurance! $2.6 million!
True story Respect Mike Support you from Greece Athens city.. Allways Amazing thank you for making everyday better the days
Heck yes, what a wonderful surprise! Happy Saturday, Mike! Hellooo, from Chicago. :)
Hellooo-from Bolingbrook. I looked it up- this happened in Lake Barrington, NOT Chicago. He's usually on top of these things, but Mike never clears that up in the video.
Yay! ONLY 21 min 18 sec! Thank you! Great tragic tale that has been out there quite awhile but you tell it anew. Oh, the tangled web we weave when once decided to deceive... or something like that LOL And, yes, why is Mrs. Squire still walking around free?!? Crazy!
Hey Mike you’re a grand storyteller. My Grandpa from the old sod would be proud of you.
And so am I ❤
Thanks for bringing these true crime to light because it helps me to realize that you can’t trust every Tom Dick and Harry - on the contrary ! This story was close to where I hail from. Scary 😱
I remembered watching the Forensic Files episode on this. One of the creepiest FF episode I watched. Justin didn't deserve what happened at the hands of this monster.
The added tragedy to this story is the wife not being held accountable. wth
I always get this case mixed up with the one where a man faked his death in a car accident, then was caught in his wife's closet by her friend. Two insane cases.
Molly and Clayton Daniels! That one truly was insane, too!
2 million!!! I'm so proud of you. Joined when you had like 50,000 and have been rooting for you all the time. You tell a great story with great humor and humility. You have been and will always be my favorite true crime youtuber. Thanks for everything Mike!!!
She still lives in the same house???!!!! I’m guessing all the neighbors have moved the hell away?? What an absolutely vile woman and husband😡 RIP Justin
I was so suprised and excited! Thanks Mike❤😊
I cannot believe the wife you benefited just as much as her creep husband and WAS EMAILING HIM after he “died” wasn’t charged!
Mike I love your videos! The “life insurance” bit just came on and I’m dying 😂
Hey Mike love the way you tell a story
This story was a fricking rollercoaster
And she absolutely did know, she was in on it, the fact she wasn't charged was down to absolutely insane dumb luck and ignorance
Love listening to you!
Damn we’re getting a friday That Chapter this week too? You’re too good to us Mike.
Today is Saturday, hope you didn't have anything planned!
@@ThatChapter Nah it’s just that I’m so used to videos being on Tuesday or Friday that my brain immediately associated a second video as a Friday one.
@ThatChapter actually, it's Sunday morning 😂
@missmombi466 you must be from China 🇨🇳
@@ThatChapterdepends which side of the International Date Line you’re on. I’m American but lived in NZ and Aussie for 5 years, never did figure out what day it was back home!
People do the strangest things. My condolences to the family of the young man.
4:30 I’m already suspicious of the wife.
This one of the most outrageous stories you've ever covered. It was seriously interesting and tragic. I really appreciate the work you do for us and also the funny "insurance dance". Clasic!
How is Denise not charged?! I hope she has been socially shunned and fired from her job at the very least!
She got over $2 million so...
We're so lucky! A podcast yesterday, this today! I feel like it's my birthday ❤
That Life Insurance bit never gets old. LOL. Please keep that forever.
The life insurance clip and music cracks me up every time
Mike, I love every single story you tell. If there is one thing I always look forward to each and every week, it is you…and not only the true crime stories you tell, but THE WAY you tell them is what sets you apart from the rest. Your enthusiasm and humor is what makes “That Chapter” great. I remember when you first started doing this in the early days and I was still hooked. Man have you come a long way since then and we luv ya here in Georgetown, Kentucky!
When first asked Denise said she thought Ari could have been out for a ride she wasn't sure.. but how is that possible if he was on house arrest and could only leave for work?
He's a general contractor , he sets his own schedule then since he's his own boss... Soooo
Oh nooooo that TWIST!!
Perfect timing. Working out and listening to Mike
What horrible people!! That poor young man...
That poor sweet young man, so tragic to take advantage of his ambitions in such a horrific way
