Injustice to a Legend ================= Shreya also did the same thing . Almost 30 years back, HMV brought out double album commemorating 50 years of Indian Hindi Film Music. Almost all the music directors, lyricists, singer were accommodated except VANI JAIRAM. 30 Years later Shreya also did the same! In fact Indian fil music can be termed pre-Vani and post-Vani with that legend of a song BOLE RE PAPIHARA, the song which caused so much raffles that new-comers could enter in the so-far-forbidden bastion of Stalwarts. Of course Vani lost out in the Battle that ensued , But she survived along with her "Bole re Papihara" !
