My parents shielded me early from the social evils. I can never be thankful enough to them. I was extremely lucky to be born to them. Our community is the ever continuing most depressed class anywhere in the world. My father had to steer from the hardest rungs of the society to become bank manager. He brought his family to city thinking those regressive ideas were past behind us. The city-dwellers were no same. It took us more than 2 decades to find mental peace. I was so scared even to tell my parents..I was only 3 years old when I was bullied by my nursery teacher..she used to force me to sit on floors in winters when everyone used to sit on benches and I wasn't even a difficult or a bad student. She was so mad that whenever I need to go to washroom in my extreme emergency she straight up said no and ask me to do it right there in front of everyone...just imagine how a child may feel in that situation..not only that she was a racist type of person,she used to differentiate me on the basis of my skin colour..I accept that I wasn't so pretty but does that even matter in studies? I felt messed up and started not going to school but my parents not let me do that for long...I was lucky enough that they ask me that 'what's wrong with me?' But sadly I couldn't even say a single word abt the whole incident,I suffered 1yr with this..My parents at last came up to know about it through a friend and they immediately sat me with them and made me realize they are with me🥺 I was so traumatized about the whole incident...I was confused..there was even a point came where I thought that there was something wrong with me..but now as a 17yr I can confirm my young self that u were never wrong💔..they were wrong who destroyed your innocence in such a young age!!🫂 Just keeping it as a reminder- No matter where you are or what is your age...if you're getting bullied just stand up for yourself.
