    A brilliant move used to be when you found a good move the computer didn't see. Almost no one ever got them. They changed it to a sacrifice that gives you an advantage. The knight sacrifice in the fried liver attack is a brilliant move now.

    The move was brilliant because you captured a Queen and. Rook for the cost of your own Queen, two very good pieces in exchange for one very good piece. Also, since the Queen is the best piece, as humans there is a psychological barrier created by the fact that we want to protect our Queen at all costs, which sublimely limits our vision of the board when it comes to identifying scenarios where it would be a good idea to sacrifice the Queen. They call it a brilliancy because it is a game changing move, but really it is simply good board vision.

      I don't think the algorithm understands psychological barriers. Plus,the barrier is mostly non existent at his elo especially on 2 move tactics. I think it is a brilliant move because it is the only move that improves the position in an otherwise very losing game

    I agree it is a brilliant move because you're not only exchanging the queens, you are winning a rook. You were loosing and with that move you are flipping the game to your side.

      It's more of a blunder by the opponent than a brilliant move imo.

    I also did a move that I thought was brilliant (rook sacrifice, would lead to a forced checkmate regardless of if the opponent took it or not) and it told me it was an error. Showed it to higher elo friends and they told me it should have been brilliant 😂

    • @Evilanious
      @Evilanious 8 месяцев назад +1

      It was almost certainly an error. Did you check what the computer played in response to your sacrifice?

    • @-_deploy_-
      @-_deploy_- 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@Evilanious it told me to make a move with my bishop and check the king, either way both of the moves would lead to a checkmate.

    • @sarangtamirisa5090
      @sarangtamirisa5090 8 месяцев назад +1

      You sure it was forced mate? Because the computer almost never makes those errors

    • @-_deploy_-
      @-_deploy_- 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@sarangtamirisa5090 yes, no move that he could do would be able to stop it, not even giving me checks, because the only check he could give me would be with his queen, I would move up and my other rook would be attacking his queen and he would have no other checks without losing rooks, queens and bishops.

      @@-_deploy_- Well then it doesnt seem like the best forcing move. The engine sees a better forced sequence and will point your move as an inaccuracy despite it being a winning move

    When you took his rock with queen he can take your rook with his queen and now if you took his queen with other rock, he take your queen with pawn and know you equal material.

    The game review shows 25. Kh2 as a Blunder because it forecasts this Queen sacrifice in order to win the Rook. Brilliant may have been more justified for lower rated players who may not have found or valued the Queen sac. Then again it was clever so well done.

    hahahahaha it depends in the raiting. If you in below 1500 the engine is weak and you can have an easy brillant if you found the idea that was suggest by the weaker computer

    • @Zamiroh
      @Zamiroh 8 месяцев назад +2

      Lol that is not true at all. There are not different engines based on rating. The only thing that matters with an engine is the version, but more importantly, depth. You can get a weak engine if you can't run it that far.

    i suck at chess (i am also about 1550 in rapid) but it is obvious even to me that this was a terrible game from both players and even more so considering that this is rapid not blitz. i would not put this on yt if it was my game. If you are 1540 you must have many games better than this.

    • @sarangtamirisa5090
      @sarangtamirisa5090 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@PysKa.512 While you are correct that bad and good are generally very relative terms. ELO is a way to put objectivity to that though. Since we are all placed on a normal distribution of skill level, you can objectively say that a 2400 will play a "good" game even when he loses to a 3500. Similarly, a 1400 will play a "bad" game even if he beats a 400. It is by design that bad games happen at 1400 (which is probably a few standard deviations lower than the average standard ELO). It is not meant as an insult but a fact

    • @sarangtamirisa5090
      @sarangtamirisa5090 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@PysKa.512 I don't mind if you dont care about ELO and play it for whatever reason you want. I am just telling the OP that he doesnt need to point out that it is a bad game because it is almost obvious that it wont be the best quality. And ELO is actually saying who is good and bad at the game. Heck people even make a lot of youtube content to guess the ELO of a game based on how good or bad the game is.
      And I never said you need to be good to post your games.
