So here's a collab I've been working on for awhile with the very talented Metajoker~!
This song doesn't really capture a Christmas spirit however, as it is a lot more serious and realistic than some of my previous works. Metajoker wrote and performed the vocals for this track, so a large amount of the inspiration for this track rests squarely on his shoulders. However my vision for this track crossed paths with his, and I think it worked quite well.

This is the stuff that I expect from you two. It's quite the beautiful piece and I love the atmosphere of which is captured and Metajoker's voice which is super captivating for the story conveyed and how it suits the song. Starting off the ambiance and this glorious hum of voices in which you have the piano enter with those chords that really flow well. The percussion that begins and the added energy to the somber tone of the chords. I love the little elements in here and ohmygoshhhh, when the sub and kick comes in, I love the vibe that they add. 0:54, this section is a wonderful breakdown of everything. The lyrics of "losing reason to the wrong fear," as with then your wonderful sound of those cutoff synths ahhhhh. THEN THE DROP BITS THAT REALLY BRING THE POWER AND ENERGYYYYYYYYYYY, WOOOOOO, really gets you dancing as with that crunchy bass mmmm. Really love the theme that's kept along while still having that energy for the almost melancholic approach of the lyrics. 2:10, all these fun sounds that emerge, and the second verse which continues the wonderful story to connect with. I love how this progresses and how everything flows. Definitely something to get stuck in your head. Great work, I enjoyed this so much! Always delivering your signature of amazing tracks!

This is beautiful. As someone who also has a very conflicted relationship with their father as well (although maybe for different reasons) this resonates with me a lot. Thank you for sharing and making such a personal song. It paid off really well and turned out a masterpiece of a track.
