In the Netflix Thumbnail They showed Donnie, the delivery guy, wearing a green bulletproof vest and holding a gun. But yet this was never shown in the movie. Weird.
@@outlaw._.lazines actually a sequel is on the way it comes out next year where Gerard Butler’s character plans on going after Donnie once he realized he’s the mastermind meanwhile Donnie is planning a jewelry heist hence at the end of the first film he looked at the jewelry store realized dude who asked him for a beer owns it and Donnie say’s “beers on me” no bullshit you can look it up famo one love 💪🏿
Got to give some credit to those camera men being able to run backwards like that and still keep the shot steady enough to make it look good for us watching it.
I love this film. Even bought the Fuc* you patch that Gerard wears for his vest. Only think. I wish they put real panels inside their vests. Anyone that has vest experience. You can see there are no panels or plates. Kills the moment a little. Still love this movie & can't wait for the sequel.

I liked the movie and I don’t like heist films. I can name only one other heist movie I liked and that’s Heat with Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. I liked the little complexities that Den had. The only thing that bothered me was there were some lapses in logic. If your a cop and you see a van pull up to a bank and these guys get out of that van dressed like commandos about to go to war in Iraq you ain’t going to sit there and keep sipping coffee and eating donuts. At least I hope you wouldn’t. Also Merriman was a paroled, convicted felon. They can’t go near guns. Doesn’t mean that they don’t but I’m just saying. Nick could have arrested Merriman in that shooting range. Also why the hell would Nick engage these heavily armed bank robbers in the middle of a traffic jam with so many civilians? That was just crazy to me. Bullets were flying everywhere. There could have been children in those cars. And I was personally rooting for the bank robbers to be honest. The cops were jerks. They all looked like they smelled like cheap liquor, bargain basement cigarettes and chlamydia.
That's what surveillance is, and Heat shootout was no different than Den Of Thieves, in Heat shootout there was way more people around that were in danger, the cops in Heat also just suddenly approached Neil and the others while they have rifles that shoot 100 rounds in a 30 round mag

Despite being set in LA, this was filmed in Atlanta.
