    This is a good video, thank you! My recommendation is to go in depth in to the technical stuff, because they are the really important ones. The video as I understand it shows what you've done but not how you've done it. How exactly to make the interface functional with v0? How to integrate it with n8n? How to upload it to a website? And more... You assume people understand the hard technical stuff very well and go really in depth on the easy stuff :D
    This is not intended as an offence, but as an advice because I was told I am doing the same stuff when explaining something technical to people that don't deal with it on daily bases.

      So you make a great point. That’s actually what my latest video was intended to try and cover because I have heard that feedback of what are all the components, how do they work together, how can I connect the dots, etc.
      If you have time, let me know if my latest video helps clarify any of that and how I can improve from there.
      In my experience (which is very limited on RUclips) it feels as though the best performing videos are in that 10-20 minute duration for the most part so I’m still trying to figure out how to have the right amount of detail at the right duration so it’s still interesting to people.

    Thanks for the video. Just a heads up: you don't need to use AWS Secrets Manager to store the credentials. In n8n you can create a secret for a custom credential just like you can for built-in nodes. Just create either a Basic Auth or Header Auth credential and then you can reference it in the HTTP Request node.

    • @hunterasneed
      @hunterasneed  Месяц назад +1

      Hey, yeah you're totally right. For whatever reason I was in my head that I couldn't use the stored credentials function for the OpenAI call and must have been in the same headspace for the Beehiiv call. That said, I do still like the pattern of having secrets in AWS to be able to pull them in (and automation the rotation of them) but the callout is totally right!

      @@hunterasneed for sure, and it's probably more secure too having them in a dedicated place. It just brings added complexity for most people so the n8n-managed secrets make it easier. But again, thanks for putting this together!

    will be great to have a real live (sort of) example for something very very basic to break the inertia and start using all tools togheter. Not necessarelly to do any complex but show how you chain all parts.

    Great and insightful video! Hosting a website affordably and getting everything online is one thing, but attracting traffic to the site is another challenge altogether and can become significantly more costly. Do you have a strategy for this, or are you planning to use tools like Google Ads and tracking pixels? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

    • @hunterasneed
      @hunterasneed  Месяц назад +2

      So that’s a great call out. There are some of the obvious things like SEO and what not that can improve it, but really even if you have a differentiated tool you’re still likely going to have to use your traditional avenues (social media (maybe even a video like this), word of mouth, communication with your existing customers, etc).
      On the note of ads, I think that could work, but there’d need to be a more clear path to upsell (like offering a feature of a SaaS for free and then upselling the platform from there) than what I’m covering in this video. I do have analytics setup on this site though so I will be able to get a sense of the overall usage / traffic.
      With all that said I do still feel like putting good free “value” in the world has a funny way of working line karma does where it hopefully all catches up, but again not always the case and also not a strategy either.

    Hello Hunter! Great video, I am stoked to be the first one commenting. Would you be willing to consider making a tutorial on integrating a frontend with v0 with database calling functions through n8n? I would like to see both supabase and pinecone integrations.
    Would be awesome if you could make a tutorial on that, because easy backend development seems to be the harder problem that not many other youtubers, who teach app creation/coding/composing etc are addressing.
    Since this is the only comment, I might give you some context: I'm building a delegation assistant as a chrome extension.
    The user inputs an outcome/goal for today, this gets posted into supabase, uses an LLM step and returns delegation suggestions into a dynamically updated field in the chrome extension.
    Then the chosen delegation suggestion gets sent to agents (in n8n or relevance ai), which execute it.
    I have ran into issues calling the supabase api directly, so I believe sending the data via webhook to n8n and have it call supabase would be a solution.
    Appreciate your tutorials. Cheers

      @florianrolke - thank you so much for the comment! I’d really love to talk about this more.
      Any chance we could connect on a call? I actually just did a supabase rag project for a customer that I was debating doing a video about and this comment may be what I was looking for to make that happen!

    Hey Hunter! great content, please keep it up such content. One question how did you know that customer has already put in the email? because you didn't create an account for him or what so ever, Is it stored in the local storage?
