As a school janitor Cam got me wanting to just start something so. I started doing pushups. Just 5. Then I did more and more. Then I set a goal of 1000 a month or 33 a day. Now I do that plus ten every hour at work. And now I can bounce my pecs. In my 50’s. I’ve lost 100lbs. Keep Hammering thank you Cam Hanes.

Extremely grateful that you didn’t shy away from talking about faith. It is comforting knowing that there are scientists out there that don’t deny the existence of God. Especially comforting coming from Dr. Huberman because I’ve learned so much from him.

    • @chandellestone6395

It’s always comforting finding others who believe what we do. It’s a much more difficult path to find those that we don’t share the same value or belief and choose to love them anyways (bearing their belief does not do harm to others). I hope you find that in your life as well.

Just got the mindset to be able to listen to my first podcast ever.Been watching them for the last 1 week.I am 26 years old from India. I am struggling with alcohol abuse and struggling to get a job. Always loved studying and sports but failed to keep that streak past 21 days, which is my highest in last 10 years.I had been smoking since I was 15 years old. After trying for 3 years I have been able to be without smoking for, 21 days just once. Made a thosandth resolution and failed 1000 times
But here I am again, trying to quit alcohol and smoking for good. Aiming to be a hybrid athlete and really focus on studies.watching and liateng these two makes me thinking I want to be like these two men when I am 50 years old.So thanks for giving me a direction to follow the path of life. And huge shout out to David Goggins man.Keep hammering.. Love from 🇮🇳

When I lie in my bed just before falling asleep, I really look forward to the next day: get up at 5:00, work on a project (currently language learning), while having a great cup of coffee. afterwards working out (traininig for an ultra on my own), spend time with my son, having breakfast with him and so on, start to work at 9:00-17:00/18:00 in a highly competetive environment. then spending time with family once again, before bed reading books, listening to podcast, meditating and on and on and on you would never get me to drinking once again, even with my friends, I enjoy the time with them but I dont drink at alll anymore... but guess what, as I was 25-26 I was in the same situation and it took me years to reach that level... but it is possible especially with guys like goggins, hanes, huberman etc. just stick to your behaviour, never miss more than one day with your behaviour and at a certain point and it can take quite long... you will start to enjoy yourself and your life with all these positive habbits! keep going!

Just want to take a moment to appreciate the time we live in, where I can watch two of my role models coming together to create an unique and special experience and share it with their audience! That´s not nothing. It means a lot to me. Two months ago at 43 I ran my first marathon, because people like you inspire me to go further. So I develop the "I can do hard things"-part in me. But there is also the quitter in me, consuming too much, creating too less. It´s kind of a battle between those two. Listening to you encourages me to go in a better direction. So thank you, Sir! Greetings from Austria.

Community College is how I got into university. I was told in high school I would never go to college by both my family and my guidance counselor. With so much turmoil in my childhood, it was no wonder. I was completely distracted and in survival mode. Once I arrived, I was also straight A’s in comm college. I went on to get my undergraduate degree and then I got my masters of science with honors in Education from Fordham University. We were the latch-key kids. We were on our own. Fighting our demons without support and no safety net. We are resilient. It’s our superpower.

Huberman is not only a genius, but walks the walk and is JACKED. Respect times 1000. What a savage.

I'm only 10 minutes in, and this is already one of the best Huberman appearances I've ever watched. He seems pretty tired from the rock carrying experience, but yet having an amazing time hanging with a true legend like Cam :) Very cool video here!

I’m late to this listen, I follow Huberman and came across a short of the rock carry. You were a gracious host and it was great to see the camaraderie. Amazing conversation.

This combination couldn't have me more thrilled: Andrew Huberman and archery/bowhunting. I hope that we can see a Joel Turner-Andrew Huberman podcast sometimes where they discuss all the mental aspects of archery, hunting, and how to prepare the mind for some of the highest pressure situations that normal people choose to be in.

I liked Huberman at first but was skeptical on motive and I was listening to other people who I’ve learned were criticizing him because of jealousy. I’m glad I gave him another chance and listened to him without outside influence and it’s interviews like this that I love with getting to know him better, his background and his true motives as being genuine. I appreciate the honesty and have truly learned a lot. Also, being a big fan of Rancid makes me like him more haha!

Thank you for this super interesting, enjoyable, and inspiring discussion on the motivations for fitness, doing hard work, and the spiritual connection to what we do and how we do it.
The spiritual connection is always what keeps me going in anything I do.

I enjoyed every bit of this podcast I even replayed a few bits to get a better understanding.
I loved how openly they talked about everything and the manner in which they talked like two good old friends having a chat.
I highly appreciate this kind of content as I find it being really precious
I learned so much about Dr Andrew Huberman in this podcast also I learned as much about the hunter Cameron Hanes who I am really thankful for creating this opportunity for all of us to have a peak into their own souls.
I loved that they openly shared their struggles and missions with us.
Something to digest and think about our own struggles and mission in life .
    I want to thank
Athlete Cameron Hanes for giving us the opportunity to have a peak into their life's and
Dr. Andrew Huberman for talking openly about himself and accepting the host's invitation
I am more than thankful for this opportunity 🙏
Unfortunately we tend to take all of this for granted ... 5 years ago we wouldn't have had this amazing opportunity.
Ps: I'm looking into the archery right now. There is no hunting where I live but I've always wanted to learn how to use a bow but never pursued that desire..
Now that flame has been rekindled
    Thank you 🙏🙏🔥🔥
