The 181 raptor you bred has all the high stats of the higher raptor you care about. The 207 has health 33 pts, Stam 40 pts, Weight 36 pts and Melee 33 pts. Need to find a better raptor for better stats, stam is decent but the rest aren't all that great.
Also, before you get the beaver saddle you can at least get them on wander near a tree to get wood until you are at high enough level. Can even use an argy if you get one by grabbing them and flying near a tree, though definite not as fast as riding one and biting trees.
The Yellow mark is when the dinos get down to 10% health. It helps for some taming where you have to get it low first...
Is that vanilla and I haven't noticed?

Palo rexes are easy to tame, just drag a corpse to it (doesn’t have to be a baby diplo or Rex like Carcha) and it’ll eat after that an icon will apear above it. next a message will say “don’t move” as your standing still the Rex will get close to you and it’ll either let you pet it or feed it (Mutton, raw or prime meat) if you don’t have the required items you can try again with on the second step. And last when the icon is full ride it and start eating everything around you, you won’t lose taming effectiveness when hit unlike Carcha.

To tame Paleo Rex you must do just like the Carcha, but there will be moments where you can’t move and can just pet it or feed it meat

Alex, you can use those beavers without the saddle. If you point whistle them to trees, they will auto harvest like an anky

Funny I thought the Pteranodons were looking better too, maybe they did have a little visual update? Also I got an ascendent beaver saddle in a drop, so keep an eye out!
I hope you got more berries for those beaver babies! I would suggest the name Rocky for the raptor, since he is plain colours

Just a thought while still watching the vid:
On the island north of Blue Ob island you can find clusters of Metal and Crystal all the way around the upper cliff edge.. If you go to the beach on the western side of the Island on either side of the waterway into the island's cove, you can get up there on foot..
I dont about creature spawns in ASA, but in ASE the worst you can run into on that Island is a few Theris and the occational Alpha Raptor or very rarely an Alpha Carno..
Blue Ob Island on the other hand is a pretty decent spot to get Rexes on ASE, so you meeting a Paleo version would kind of be expected.. 🤭
The small island on the "back side" of Lava Island used to be nicknamed Rex island on ASE for a reason.. Just a tip for later on taming potential.. 💪
That Rex is so cool hope you guys can get great colors on them hope to see that anyways. Also raptor pack needs a female to do mate boost then they be unstoppable. Also great job today keep it up. Till the next time.

Axe! Heads up, with that cryo mod, you have the cryo gun and the nueter gun, you can switch the nueter gun to kill mode by pressing R and instantly kill your baby breedjects and you get the xp for it.

Think the yellow highlighting is from that cryo mod. I had it downloaded in my server and when I went over to one of the better ones it went away.
did you know that back in the days arrow blueprint would be the best bp. ppl would put it in a replicator make tons of arrows and put them into gachas as food -cheap, dont spoil. so that bp -super valuable

My guess is the yellow aura around the creatures is letting you know they are close to death. I'm guessing it's one of the mods to help with taming so you don't kill the creature
It’s not, just a new feature of the center so you don’t lose your target in a hard-to-see environment
The yellow outline seems to appear when the dino is only one hit left from dying at least thats what i noticed so far

Every time I try to do the breeding settings the way I like I end up messing up some other aspect of the game. I have been stuck with an Xbox for years but just last week I got a 4070 ti super and I want to run ASA to where it looks decent (impossibly grainy graphics and stutter on my series s) What do you guys have the settings at?
I’ve noticed how the Dino’s only highlight right before they die. Same in Syntacs videos.
I’m betting it’s meant to tell you a dino is low health. Not sure what mod it’s coming from though.

It seems in ASA its easier to Kill certain Creatures and just Tame the babies... like some of those that needed annoying processes to tame, such as Mantas or Titanoboa, could be made trivial by just finding one that has a baby, killing it, and taking the baby. Interesting.
