I want to go on a road trip rave just so i can listen to this whole album. Its straight genius in every way and ill never get tired of it every song is purely, genuinely, FUCKING AMAZING.
They need... to make a soundtrack for something... NOW. I was so sad when I found this, thought "I NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE JUST BECAUSE THE MUSIC IS THIS AWESOME!" only to realize upon zooming in to the picture that it was not indeed a movie but an AWESOME looking album cover. Now I have to go cry.
@roadieman5000 That was such a good idea, I decided to do it. It works better if you know your way around Blade Runner and can fast forward to the epic parts, although, half of it is pretty awesome if you just start from the beginning of the film. I muted the Final Cut and started this song at 3:09 and there were some pretty epic synchronistic scenes. Definitely worth my time to do this. The only thing that sucked was the dialogue scenes, but those are necessary for the movie.
i dont know much about history of electronic music, but around 25 years ago there werent so much deep bass sounds like know..back then high tones were used more often. now we find deep sounds in most of the electronic songs. but what comes next? new basslines so deep that we cant even hear them, just feel it vibrating? or something whole new? im not talking about the popular music like club house etc. but electronic music is evolving really fast and i really want to know what will come next
thats true. the contrast is getting bigger between heavy and chilled music even in one genre. i think the best way to watch this change , is to compare the older and newer songs of an artist. for example nero's stuff was way more heavier a few years ago then the type of music he makes now. and there will be invented whole new types of electronic music for sure. how long does dubstep exsist? 10 years? 15 years? and it has grown really big..
who care who is better or not. It's just music we listen to it because it fits our individual expectations not because one has a better drop than the other...stop arguing and just listen
I like Skrillex when I'm in my school bus and it cover the voices and wake me up. I love Nero for the cinematic style dubstep and it help me find things to imagine, then draw. There's no sides, the two of them are good in their way. So stop fighting.
@dmcprince1 On the album it's technically just one song, but it also incorporates various elements from other songs on the album along with it's own orchestral/synth portions.
good observation. i tend to favor a pendulum type of theory. since electronic music is getting more heavy, loud, and busy; i think we are heading for something quieter and simpler. but i dont think this current wave has yet crested.one thing i do think will be ( and has) carried through is the shortening attention span.
That album cover reminds me of some of the viynl album covers from bands like The Electric Light Orechestra, Journey, STYX, Queen, etc. A lot of good old bands.
These guys along with Yoko Kanno should do the music for a Ghost in the Shell movie if it becomes live action. I'm also reminded of the upcoming game Remember Me and the Mass Effect trilogy.
Everybody thinks people can only write one kind of music or they single them out as one kind of music, any artist that can make on good track of music can make any kind of music.
So the old "techno isn't music" debate still rages on. Well, ponder this: Much like technology changed the way we as a people communicate and share ideas it also changed the way we make everything including music. Don't let it get your panties in a bunch.
Today, while waiting for the bus in the beautiful sunshine, I actually thought more of being an evil genius and destroying the city while listening to this
i am going to have that played at my funeral in like 50 years and im going to make it rain and they will stand there in the rain for 15 mins of epic ness and they will all say it was worth it !!!!!!
How about this one: Let's take your year, 2808, a blind assassin/mastermind who managed to build a giant factory on his own under the city to protect those who are without defence and fights those hiding in the shadows. He can't live with himself since his brother was killed (his eyes we're highly damaged during what ever happened) ... feel free to fill out the blanks :D
OK, classical music will always be preserved. This is the music of today and tomorrow as is classical music and it dosent take a musician to compose great musical accomplishments. You can rage all you want but your logic is flawed.
Close your eyes and think of a story to this. Great moviemusic!
(the hidden best track on the album)
And i was thinking that new life was the best song they made
Nero is my Second Reality
I want to go on a road trip rave just so i can listen to this whole album. Its straight genius in every way and ill never get tired of it every song is purely, genuinely, FUCKING AMAZING.
My wedding song.
marry me
Where is my diamond ring?
I'm a broke teenager
you're amazing!
The stories you can come up with while watching the album cover and listening to this simultaneously....
this song will be played at my funeral and it will be the most epic 14 minutes and 57 seconds ever.
This is one of the most amazing and powerful things I have ever heard, bit Danny Elfman-ish in the middle, reminds me of Batman forever a bit
This is amazeballs. Loved listening to it, it's like Star Wars for me ears!
Epic! Explosive! Energetic! Never Ending Radiating Oxygen that gives life and runs through the veins of true music fans.
It HAS to be in the movie!

7:07 a hero awakes...
Thank you Nero...
Electronic symphonies need to be done more often...
And this is a beautiful example of what they are capable of becoming.
This. Is. Awesome.
Nero + (Symphony * Dubstep) = HOLY MOLY MY SWEET RAPTOR BEJESSUS
Must listen to this while playing Skyrim and fighting dragons, absolutely perfect match!
As a violinist, I must say this is very inspiring. I want to get the score for this!
Joe Duddel composed the orchestration

I love how Nero isn't afraid to slow the tempo down. These other "dubstep artists" could take a lesson.
this song sounds like it should be in a EPIC movie... OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!
This is so epic.. Thanks Nero for the thrills you give us.
Damn, Nero went all out for this. This can even be compare to a blockbuster movie soundtrack, its too good
2808 must be an awesome year...
I feel so epic listening to this x
Sweet jebus.....words cannot explain this beautiful peace of musical art.
Your last sentence is true to an extent. I think we should welcome new changes, but never forget what came before it. Arts die and new arts are born.
why da f--k does this only have 77,000 views?!?!? A friggin dubstep symphony , and thts all the views, this is amazing....song is givin me chills
THANK YOU .... now to buy this cd (even tho i could torrent it the band is way to good and deserve the money)
Needs to be in a halo game
What has been seen... Cannot be unseen
if welcome reality doesn't become a movie.. i will be very disappointed.

i dont know much about history of electronic music, but around 25 years ago there werent so much deep bass sounds like know..back then high tones were used more often.

This shows true talent.
who care who is better or not. It's just music we listen to it because it fits our individual expectations not because one has a better drop than the other...stop arguing and just listen
Usually really long songs bore me, but this is amazing!
I like Skrillex when I'm in my school bus and it cover the voices and wake me up.
I love Nero for the cinematic style dubstep and it help me find things to imagine, then draw.
There's no sides, the two of them are good in their way. So stop fighting.

8:07 reminds me of portal for some reason.
cannot unsee!
this isn't the full song, as it is on the album. there's the synth line of La Roux - In For The Kill @ 17:30~
sounds epic as fuck to be honest

Everybody thinks people can only write one kind of music or they single them out as one kind of music, any artist that can make on good track of music can make any kind of music.

So the old "techno isn't music" debate still rages on. Well, ponder this: Much like technology changed the way we as a people communicate and share ideas it also changed the way we make everything including music. Don't let it get your panties in a bunch.
Brilliant!
I was using an example from your perspective; satirical comments rarely have solid logic.
Today, while waiting for the bus in the beautiful sunshine, I actually thought more of being an evil genius and destroying the city while listening to this
@WithMyBass lol woops, thank you for the correction.
This is EPIC on Audiosurf!
It is just.... fucking amazing!
For this music... someone should write a stroy and make an epic movie.
i am going to have that played at my funeral in like 50 years and im going to make it rain and they will stand there in the rain for 15 mins of epic ness and they will all say it was worth it !!!!!!
