As I only had one week to take the exam: - I took the practice test from the Duolingo website before starting my preparation, just to know what my level was and how much I needed to improve - I watched teacher Luke’s video that covers the most important lessons (I think it is the one that lasts about 3 hours). - I practiced with every video. As for the writing, I used a Word document to write the photo descriptions or the words to complete and always used a timer so it simulated the actual test. - For the speaking, I recorded myself and then listened to the voice memos to see where I could improve. - I also bought 1 week of detready and practiced before work and during lunchtime. - I took the Duolingo practice test 4 times to be confident with my scores. Once I got similar scores, I bought the test. I got 125-135; 130-140; 125-135;135-145. - The day before the exam, I practiced with 2 simulation tests (from t.luke yt videos). Hope it helps you 😊

@@ShahadSs-uc7dl Hey there I am from nepal and English is not our primary language but I think the most important think is where you start from, In my case the first time I gave the practice test my score was 105-115 then after watching videos from this channel and writing the basic tips in the paper to memorize it. After 5 days of practice I started getting 115-125 then after some 2-3 days I got 120-130 then I gave the exam and my score was 125. I recommend you to give little more time to it and give at least two practice test a day. If you prepare in a well manner for 2-3 weeks you can easily get that score. I hope this finds you helpful and all the best for your future undertakings.

@@ShahadSs-uc7dl to be honest not much. My estimation was pretty high from the beginning and the better you do at your test the more difficult it gets over the course of your exam. If you really want to get a better score, you need to better your overall English. That however takes time. Read books. Watch movies with English subtitles. Stuff like that. But why do you need 135? I don’t know any Uni that requires 135 points?

I still cant understand; At the end of it I get 115-125 all the time and Im really wondering if the points for the part that we are talking about a topic for 90 seconds or the part we are telling what we see in the image include to 115-125??? I need to appear the Duolingo test as soon as possible, can anyone advise me how to workout and get good score.

you need to focus on your speaking, and writing sessions only. You will get 125 score easily.

I appeared for the test for three times but every single time my test timed out in the middle and the reason was same every time that full screen mode left on the screen. Hi, I have an important question. I took the practice test on duolingo maybe 10 times. I still cant understand; At the end of it I get 115-125 all the time and Im really wondering if the points for the part that we are talking about a topic for 90 seconds or the part we are telling what we see in the image include to 115-125??? Like how the computer can score these parts ? Or that score includes just the writing and chosing sections ? Please make it clear to me I will take the test in two weeks so Im getting the practice test everyday minimum 3 times and watching your videos here and I must get at least 105 from the real test.
