(LITERALLY ALL OF THEM😋) I’ve got the 135 overall score - Literacy (140) - Comprehension (135) - Conversation (135) - Production (140) Although I was kind of scared about the scores but I guess it’s more than enought than what I’ve expected! Special thanks to you Teacher Luke, you guided us so well, specifically on the production section that people usually find kind of difficult (but I guess I managed to get a sufficient 140 score for it). I loved the concept of controlling idea, Luke! I am the one that usually loses control (lol) of what I am saying. I believe I do that because I speak as things come to my mind, I am spontaneous , etc. So, a video about how not to be digressive would be much appreciated :)
Really good video! The thing with this test, however, is "If you know, you know." There is no syllabus or a prescription like for IELTS and TOEFL. I'm not a native English speaker, but I have studied in English medium institutions. I recently took the test, with zero preparation. I took one practice test followed by the actual test. I scored 140. DET may be inexpensive but realistically speaking, IELTS and TOEFL have a much more prescriptive approach rather than DET.

I just took the exam and got 115. Honestly the test was not too difficult but there are some parts that take you by surprise. The parts in where you have to answer a talked question and the one where you have to write down what you hear were the toughful for me.

Dear Teacher Luke, thank you for your video, I watched about 10's of yours, did 3 times Duolingo practice test, got 110-130, 105-120, and 110-130. At the time of the real test, I have a hard time to start the test (download the test for 10minutes, 15minutes, last time I waited until 30minutes, then after 2 days and 3 failed start, I changed my wifi to another provider which then started the test right away...tadaa). The real test was harder than the practice, especially the "describe the picture" test (which I only able to write 2 sentences, instead my plan 4) and "fill in the blank" test (which sometimes I don't know the answer). Surprisingly, after sometimes waiting in frustation, I got 120 total result (althou low in production), but since my US uni only need minimum DET 105, I been accepted to my uni. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR EFFORT TO HELP US ALL 🙏🙏🙏

Taking into account the demography in my country, I would definetely suggest the center for research in agriculture. First of all we have a lot of natural resources in land, the industry is not even well segmented, we need a guide for understanding and knowing how are the best ways to get more from this, so the research part center would be really helpful. We have the land, the water and the animals, we only need the knowledge.
try to use colon, comma, semicolon, dash (" ; : " / - ) in essay. (I wrote essay just in 75 words; still scored 115 in production.) + Speak as much as possible in your speaking section.

I was planning to take Ielts for studies purposes and I just came across Duolingo which came handy for what I need. I found online many webistes and teachers giving lessons, practical tests and correcting writing tasks for Ielts but I did not find anything like that related to Duolingo. I was wondering if you offer any sort of course or provide any services of reviewing student's writing essays. Again good work!

Really good video! The thing with this test, however, is "If you know, you know." There is no syllabus or a prescription like for IELTS and TOEFL. I'm not a native English speaker, but I have studied in English medium institutions. I recently took the test, with zero preparation. I took one practice test followed by the actual test. I scored 140. DET may be inexpensive but realistically speaking, IELTS and TOEFL have a much more prescriptive approach rather than DET.

I just took the exam and got 115. Honestly the test was not too difficult but there are some parts that take you by surprise. The parts in where you have to answer a talked question and the one where you have to write down what you hear were the toughful for me.

Dear Teacher Luke, thank you for your video, I watched about 10's of yours, did 3 times Duolingo practice test, got 110-130, 105-120, and 110-130.
At the time of the real test, I have a hard time to start the test (download the test for 10minutes, 15minutes, last time I waited until 30minutes, then after 2 days and 3 failed start, I changed my wifi to another provider which then started the test right away...tadaa).
The real test was harder than the practice, especially the "describe the picture" test (which I only able to write 2 sentences, instead my plan 4) and "fill in the blank" test (which sometimes I don't know the answer).
Surprisingly, after sometimes waiting in frustation, I got 120 total result (althou low in production), but since my US uni only need minimum DET 105, I been accepted to my uni. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR EFFORT TO HELP US ALL 🙏🙏🙏

@@anhlien3197 hello, the speaking more or less the same but it have more, but the writing I think more difficult than the practice, the vocabulary contain words that I never heard of, the fill the blank quite difficult cause I cant seem to find the right words, the story ones more or less the same as the practice but have more. Taking into account the demography in my country, I would definetely suggest the center for research in agriculture. First of all we have a lot of natural resources in land, the industry is not even well segmented, we need a guide for understanding and knowing how are the best ways to get more from this, so the research part center would be really helpful. We have the land, the water and the animals, we only need the knowledge.
try to use colon, comma, semicolon, dash (" ; : " / - ) in essay. (I wrote essay just in 75 words; still scored 115 in production.)
+ Speak as much as possible in your speaking section.
speaking and writing does not affect the score the exam says, it is for educational institution

I was planning to take Ielts for studies purposes and I just came across Duolingo which came handy for what I need.
