I just wanted to say, THANK YOU! At the time of typing this (October 5th, 2023), I just got the Platinum Trophy for The Quarry on PS4. It was all thanks to YOU! I think The Quarry is a great interactive movie and is 99% better than Until Dawn, my only gripe is The Quarry DOESN'T save your collectibles like Until Dawn did and, even worse, they made it impossible to get 100% of the collectibles in a single playthrough (you'll either miss one Tarot Card or two Clues depending on the path you choose when you play as Nick and Abi), that's probably the only thing Until Dawn did better than The Quarry, saving your collectibles and being able to collect 100% of them in a single playthrough (so long as you make the correct decisions in Until Dawn, of course). Either way, this Platinum Trophy was brutal. Not in a sense of difficulty, because it's not difficult, but just in a sense of playing through the game (with a couple of partial playthroughs) over and over again, as much as I quited enjoyed The Quarry, I'm pretty much done with it.... for at least 5 years.... if not forever. Oh, and a little tip for anyone in the future who comes across this comment and needs help with the 'Peanut Butter Butterpops' Trophy/Achievement: The guy outlined a perfect tutorial in this video, HOWEVER, if you're still having trouble then turn the 'Aim Assist' option to 'Auto' in the 'accessibility' section of the settings menu, that way it will automatically succeed every combat encounter in the game and, yes, you WILL get the Trophy (that's how I did it because I wasn't going to take any chances lol). Also, when you get to the parts of shooting Jacob in the bushes and shooting the Radio Hut's ceiling (both times as Ryan), when Aim Assist is switched to Auto, neither times will Ryan shoot, but DON'T worry. The game will still give you the Trophy/Achievement by the end of the playthrough. But, for some odd reason, if you DON'T have Aim Assist switched to Auto, you NEED to shoot Jacob in the bushes and the Radio Hut ceiling, idk why. Either way, this comment is long enough, so once again: THANKS A MILLION TO THE VIDEO CREATOR! Seriously, your guide is the single greatest for The Quarry and deserves way more views.
Great guide, just got the plat. Few tips for anyone starting out. 1st playthrough collect all tarot cards and evidence like normal. Don't worry about any of the collectibles from chapter 3 on. They do not save and you will get them all in a later playthrough. Also because you are collecting all tarot cards in the first playthrough, make sure to "Move on" at the end of each chapter. Plenty of chances later to pick up a tarot card and have your future read. Second tip and this one saves you an entire playthrough: before you start the infect everyone playthrough (2nd to last in this video) turn auto aim on in the accessibility settings. All shooting encounters will auto complete. This saves you having to do the entire last playthrough. 👍

First of all kudos for the great work, haven't seen a better 100% walkthrough for so many endings before! You definitely earned my sub. I am on PS5 and am through with the first run. Since I don't have PS+, can I still follow your guide to get the rest of the trophies without any game saves and just by chapter select?
Great guide, thank you for helping me crush some achievements before the game leaves Gamepass. I made a couple mistakes in the 'No One Survives' playthrough. In Chapter 4 having aim assist on prevented me from accidentally on purpose shooting Jacob in the bushes. And in Chapter 7 if you pick up the syringe you can't grab Travis' gun in the cell and he didn't stab Laura later.
Amazing step by step guide. Helped me get my plat trophy (17/10/2023) in 3 days right before the game got removed from playstation plus lol I want to add few stuff that I learned through all the playthroughs I did and it might help some people ❤ Hard pass trophy (reject Eliza's help) is fixed so you can earn it normally just like mentioned in this video. For this specific playthrough, on chapter 1, Jacob doesn't need to pickup Emma's bracelet. Picking up the bracelet will help Emma survive after Jacob turns into a werewolf. But in this specific playthrough, we don't need that. When doing the "only Ryan survives" playthrough, make sure you accept Laura's bite or else he'll bleed out. (I forgot to accept it oops) For "peanut butter butterpops" trophy, what I did was when playing the "infect everyone" playthrough, I turned on auto aim from the beginning of chapter 2 and made sure I shot whenever there was a combat encounter. So what counts as a combat encounter is when you have the gun and there's a werewolf or someone involved. Looking at the roof/ceiling or the bushes Does Not count as a combat encounter. So in the scene where Ryan aims at the bush, if you have auto aim on (which u should for butterpop trophy), he's Not gonna shoot at Jacob in the bushes and that's exactly what we want. So just put the aim to auto and the game will shoot automatically if there's a combat encounter. This way, u don't have to do a whole separate playthrough just to get the butterpop trophy. i havent finished watching yet but when dylan and kaitlyn are in the scrapyard, he has both of his hands and then hes back to one when they see the crane. thats a big glitch to have
It’s sad knowing some people weren’t able to experience this during the release back in summer of 22 and we all know how peak summer 22 was so you can probably guess how much this game means to me 🙏
At 2:38:45 during the initial play, the video loops back to the cutscene just moments earlier. Was thatjust backing up the game just in case or was that a hint that its best to do it if following this guide.

@Videogmz i was just saying you could because I did. Since they both die around the same time, rewinding Laura's brings it back to Ryan shooting Chris so you can do both in one playthrough. Only works if you have death rewind. It also only saves you from doing an extra chapter 9 and 10. Just thought I should comment it incase it helped somebody. I also should explain how i did it better. I was saving Ryan (last survivor) but I forgot to shoot Chris so he died and I realized that i could probably do the next achievement, so I got the mutually assured so laura died and when I Death rewinded hers, it went back to Ryan grabbing the gun. It's a small save but it helped.

Having manual PS+ cloud backup will really help if you mess up. If you go to chapter 4 make different decisions, the ending will change. You will be able to only chapter select once you end story again.

DO NOT accept eliza's help! At least not during the first playthrough, otherwise you won't obtain HARD PASS trophy. I know because I made that mistake and had to replay entirely while going for peanut butterpops trophy and I combined with hard pass

You said 40/40 but two are missing for you and me. But seeing that this is a edited video I wonder if you missed those clues or edited it wrong.
You can’t Collect all Tarots and Evidence in your 1st run, one skip those in my first run and only collect which makes was required but it’d make for more confusing video. Some people just watch the video for entertainment. So I collected everything in first run, re-collected again in step 6 “everyone is inflected”.
Deluxe includes both PS4 and PS5 editions. Unfortunately no autopop available so will need to be played twice for both. Luckily we have this fantastic guide to help🔥🥳💯
It’s sad. I wish they had save transfer to get both PS4 and PS5 trophies. My only issue with the game that you can’t skip some cutscenes so makes it quite slow to replay it.

Thank you so much... I did put some notes in the description. It's quite easy to miss something important in this game so I recommended making manual saves after each chapter.
The Hard Pass trophy did not appear after 1 race as it was in the video because Eliza told me fortune in chapter 3. what to do ? Is the trophy cumulative or not?
For some reason my chapter select disappeared after max and Emma reunite trophy. When I quit back to main menu chapter select was gone. Can I just reload my back up save?

Can I do the platinum in the amount of time of this video? Reason I'm asking is I heard you cannot manually save the game! It auto saves, from time to time And I just hope they have frequent saves in critical checkpoints whenever I turn off the game and stuff! Hey there. It will take around 15 hours to platinum game. Yes, you need to play multiples. One entire and then partial playthroughs. The game only keeps 1 active save that it automatically overwrites with each cutscene, because of this you should manually back up your save regularly (Console Settings - Saved Data Management - USB if you’re on PS4 or PS+ Cloud if you’re on PS5). In case you make a mistake on an important decision you can copy back your save without needing to replay the entire game. Here are the steps: ✅ Step 1: Full Playthrough - Everyone Survives + Killed All Hacketts + Collectibles ✅ Step 2: Chapter Select Chapter 9-10 - Should’ve Gone to the Motel Ending ✅ Step 3: Partial Playthrough (Chapter 4-10) - No one survives ✅ Step 4: Chapter Select (Chapter 10) - Only Kaitlyn Survives ✅ Step 5: Chapter Select (Chapter 9-10) - Only Ryan Survives ✅ Step 6: Chapter Select (Chapter 2-10) - Infected Everyone + All Clues Collectibles ✅ Step 7: Start Movie Mode ✅ Step 8: Chapter Select (Chapter 4-10) - Peanut Butter Butterpops
Wonderful guide, really it helped me SO MUCH!!! But the only problem I got with it was the comment to accept Eliza' s help. You said watching the future could unlock a trophy, but you didn't mention that we were also required to always choose MOVE ON in order to unlock "Hard Pass" XD So I decided to watch the future in chapter 2 or 3 (I forgot, it's when you added the comment during Eliza's scene) and I had to replay almost everything during another playthrough to always choose MOVE ON 😅 but not a bid deal, I loved the game so it was perfectly fine to do a second almost complete playthrough. I combined it with Peanut butterpops, restarted from chapter 2 and just collected one card in each chapter + following your guide for the important choices and the shooting XD So yeah apart from that comment to see the future and not choosing MOVE ON, then I'd say this guide was perfect!!!! Great guide so far (roughly 7 hours in) but I have a question/concern. During the first play through after chapter 2 or 3 you say it's ok to get the Forwarned if Forearmed trophy by getting a tarot reading. This voids the hard pass trophy though, which you still unlock at the end of playthrough 1. Is it possible to get Hard Pass on one of the last two playthroughs?
I’m trying hard to recall the details. I do mention in description on my approach. You should get all trophies as long as you stick to it. Since it’s been a while, I’m struggling to recall the details on the trophies.
I cant do a Manual save because i dont have ps plus. My father got it. If i do it with his profile Will still count? Also, there are other way to get all clues withouth Manual save? They just keep disappearing in the Next playthrough.
On PS5 Cloud save is the only way to do it. You can complete the entire game with manual saves but it will take long er time. You can't save your dad's profile to unlock trophies with your own profile.
@@Videogmz yes. I figured out why it didn’t work. Still worked out in the end bc Ma ended up being killed. Kind of weird how she’s out of place during the cutscenes. Like everyone just ignores her as if I followed the guide perfectly. Lol

Your comment is slightly misleading as at 5:25:50, as you state that you need to make a manual save before taking the shot. How ever can’t make manual saves in this game.
@@Videogmz Fair enough but would it not be easy to go into settings and change aim assist to auto-aim for that encounter? That way if you fail to shoot it, as it’s a very difficult shot to make , you don’t have to retry it again & again numerous times potentially from a manual PS+ save as it will be done automatically for you on the first attempt. It doesn’t affect the Peanut Butter Butterpops trophy.
Hard pass unlocks if you have always picked MOVE ON while talking to the old lady (Eliza) at the end of each chapter, if you collected at least one card in each chapter. So you will need to always choose MOVE ON and in the final interaction with her you'll get the trophy
too bad that u didn't mention that if u want Ryan to be only survivor, he has to choose "ACCEPT" when Laura offers him to bite.. Thanks to this need to replay chapters 9-10 again..

Great guide, thank you for helping me crush some achievements before the game leaves Gamepass. I made a couple mistakes in the 'No One Survives' playthrough. In Chapter 4 having aim assist on prevented me from accidentally on purpose shooting Jacob in the bushes. And in Chapter 7 if you pick up the syringe you can't grab Travis' gun in the cell and he didn't stab Laura later.
You just have to replay from where you messed up.
Amazing step by step guide. Helped me get my plat trophy (17/10/2023) in 3 days right before the game got removed from playstation plus lol
I want to add few stuff that I learned through all the playthroughs I did and it might help some people ❤
Hard pass trophy (reject Eliza's help) is fixed so you can earn it normally just like mentioned in this video.
For this specific playthrough, on chapter 1, Jacob doesn't need to pickup Emma's bracelet. Picking up the bracelet will help Emma survive after Jacob turns into a werewolf. But in this specific playthrough, we don't need that.
When doing the "only Ryan survives" playthrough, make sure you accept Laura's bite or else he'll bleed out. (I forgot to accept it oops)
For "peanut butter butterpops" trophy, what I did was when playing the "infect everyone" playthrough, I turned on auto aim from the beginning of chapter 2 and made sure I shot whenever there was a combat encounter.
So what counts as a combat encounter is when you have the gun and there's a werewolf or someone involved. Looking at the roof/ceiling or the bushes Does Not count as a combat encounter. So in the scene where Ryan aims at the bush, if you have auto aim on (which u should for butterpop trophy), he's Not gonna shoot at Jacob in the bushes and that's exactly what we want. So just put the aim to auto and the game will shoot automatically if there's a combat encounter. This way, u don't have to do a whole separate playthrough just to get the butterpop trophy.

At 2:38:45 during the initial play, the video loops back to the cutscene just moments earlier. Was thatjust backing up the game just in case or was that a hint that its best to do it if following this guide.
My advice is to back up your save manually to cloud.. it’s very easy to mess up. I did mess up the running sequence..

It shouldn’t grow back. Original video of part has little problem, so i recorded it. Later on, you’ll see the hand goes away
You could do mutually assured first and then use a death rewind so you don't have to do a whole another playthrough
What I recall, you have to follow a specific pattern to get all trophies and achievements
@Videogmz i was just saying you could because I did. Since they both die around the same time, rewinding Laura's brings it back to Ryan shooting Chris so you can do both in one playthrough. Only works if you have death rewind. It also only saves you from doing an extra chapter 9 and 10. Just thought I should comment it incase it helped somebody.
I also should explain how i did it better. I was saving Ryan (last survivor) but I forgot to shoot Chris so he died and I realized that i could probably do the next achievement, so I got the mutually assured so laura died and when I Death rewinded hers, it went back to Ryan grabbing the gun. It's a small save but it helped.

Having manual PS+ cloud backup will really help if you mess up. If you go to chapter 4 make different decisions, the ending will change. You will be able to only chapter select once you end story again.

You can’t Collect all Tarots and Evidence in your 1st run, one skip those in my first run and only collect which makes was required but it’d make for more confusing video. Some people just watch the video for entertainment. So I collected everything in first run, re-collected again in step 6 “everyone is inflected”.

It’s sad. I wish they had save transfer to get both PS4 and PS5 trophies. My only issue with the game that you can’t skip some cutscenes so makes it quite slow to replay it.

For some reason my chapter select disappeared after max and Emma reunite trophy. When I quit back to main menu chapter select was gone. Can I just reload my back up save?
Yes, save the reload from the back up save. The chapter select goes away, if you select any chapter.

Can I do the platinum in the amount of time of this video? Reason I'm asking is I heard you cannot manually save the game! Hey there. It will take around 15 hours to platinum game. Yes, you need to play multiples. One entire and then partial playthroughs. The game only keeps 1 active save that it automatically overwrites with each cutscene, because of this you should manually back up your save regularly (Console Settings - Saved Data Management - USB if you’re on PS4 or PS+ Cloud if you’re on PS5). In case you make a mistake on an important decision you can copy back your save without needing to replay the entire game.
Here are the steps:
✅ Step 1: Full Playthrough - Everyone Survives + Killed All Hacketts + Collectibles
✅ Step 2: Chapter Select Chapter 9-10 - Should’ve Gone to the Motel Ending
✅ Step 3: Partial Playthrough (Chapter 4-10) - No one survives

Wonderful guide, really it helped me SO MUCH!!! But the only problem I got with it was the comment to accept Eliza' s help. You said watching the future could unlock a trophy, but you didn't mention that we were also required to always choose MOVE ON in order to unlock "Hard Pass" XD
So I decided to watch the future in chapter 2 or 3 (I forgot, it's when you added the comment during Eliza's scene) and I had to replay almost everything during another playthrough to always choose MOVE ON 😅 but not a bid deal, I loved the game so it was perfectly fine to do a second almost complete playthrough. I combined it with Peanut butterpops, restarted from chapter 2 and just collected one card in each chapter + following your guide for the important choices and the shooting XD
So yeah apart from that comment to see the future and not choosing MOVE ON, then I'd say this guide was perfect!!!! Thank you so much!!! Platinum 78 all thanks to you ❤

Great guide so far (roughly 7 hours in) but I have a question/concern. During the first play through after chapter 2 or 3 you say it's ok to get the Forwarned if Forearmed trophy by getting a tarot reading. This voids the hard pass trophy though, which you still unlock at the end of playthrough 1. Is it possible to get Hard Pass on one of the last two playthroughs?
I’m trying hard to recall the details. I do mention in description on my approach. You should get all trophies as long as you stick to it. Since it’s been a while, I’m struggling to recall the details on the trophies.

I cant do a Manual save because i dont have ps plus. My father got it. If i do it with his profile Will still count? Also, there are other way to get all clues withouth Manual save? They just keep disappearing in the Next playthrough.
On PS5 Cloud save is the only way to do it. You can complete the entire game with manual saves but it will take long er time. You can't save your dad's profile to unlock trophies with your own profile.

Nope. Let' say you reload chapter 2, then you have to play the entire game and recollect all. You can't just reload and collect the missing ones

Then you PSN plus. Turn off auto sync in saves settings… to manual save, to saves in setting. Then manually upload that save to cloud.

Your comment is slightly misleading as at 5:25:50, as you state that you need to make a manual save before taking the shot. How ever can’t make manual saves in this game.
When I say manual saves, I mean through PS+ Cloud saves. On PC copying save files manually. Within the game, there are no manual saves.
@@Videogmz Fair enough but would it not be easy to go into settings and change aim assist to auto-aim for that encounter? That way if you fail to shoot it, as it’s a very difficult shot to make , you don’t have to retry it again & again numerous times potentially from a manual PS+ save as it will be done automatically for you on the first attempt. It doesn’t affect the Peanut Butter Butterpops trophy.

I don't recall now hard pass trophy details.
Hard pass unlocks if you have always picked MOVE ON while talking to the old lady (Eliza) at the end of each chapter, if you collected at least one card in each chapter. So you will need to always choose MOVE ON and in the final interaction with her you'll get the trophy
too bad that u didn't mention that if u want Ryan to be only survivor, he has to choose "ACCEPT" when Laura offers him to bite.. Thanks to this need to replay chapters 9-10 again..

Yes. I got the platinum trophy and didn’t face any issue. They did patch the game few times after the release
